This is the one! Come stay at our cozy, beautifully furnished cabin in the woods. We are located within Hartstene Pointe, a gated community at the tip of Harstine Island. Pristine beaches, abundant wildlife (deer will greet you!) and plenty of activities are available for your enjoyment. You will love the peaceful setting, security, and many amenities. Within a 5 minute stroll from the cabin you will find a picturesque marina and beach, or, walk a block to visit the clubhouse where you can play ping-pong, pool, or curl up with a book in the comfy library. In the summer months, take a swim in the heated outdoor pool, or relax in the spa. Explore the many nature trails, most of which lead to the beach where you can take in the spectacular views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and nearby islands.
Our cabin is a lovely A-frame that looks out into a tranquil wooded ravine. The upstairs loft has a new king-size bed, as well as a futon/couch. The main floor bedroom is equipped with two comfortable twin beds and an additional twin trundle. Our large deck has seating and a BBQ for outdoor enjoyment. The kitchen is well equipped... bring your food and clothing and you'll be set to go!

Why the Owner Chose Harstine Island
Our family cabin is next door to our rental and we have enjoyed our vacation time at Hartstene Pointe since 2005. Our kids love the beach, tennis courts, pool and freedom to explore throughout the Pointe. We love the convenience, safety, and the beautiful setting. It's a gem of a vacation place and we feel lucky to have the perfect getaway spot... less than an hour and a half from our home in Puyallup, and it's a beautiful drive!

Clean and very well stocked. We went during the "off" season and it was very quiet and relaxing. Best king bed that I've ever slept in. The large deck is super if it's warm and dry enough to sit out. Otherwise the view from inside is equally good. There is no TV reception (not a problem for us-but if you must have TV, it's not available here). Owners were very considerate. Don't miss a drive out onto the spit to watch the moon rise--Amazingly beautiful!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

Spacious and Clean. An awesome place to totally get away from TV, Cell Phones, Traffc, Noise, etc. Huge Deck with a great view of some of Washington's best "Rain Forest." Great Trails to hike on, just steps from the door. Large Kitchen, Bedrooms, Bath, Laundry. Cruise up 101 a bit and explore all the Olympic Forest has to offer. Helpful and Courteous Owners. Very Accommodating! I want to come back in the SUMMMER! ....and for TWO weeks next time! Thanks for a comfortable, "homey" cabin.

We had a wonderful time on the island and in this house. We walked, biked, and hiked the trails around the gated community. We even played ping pong at the clubhouse. This is a very nice cabin, very comfortable bed, and well stocked kitchen. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Great for a couple or family with 2 kids.

Looking out the huge windows of this wonderful little cabin made us feel as though we were in the rain forest! It was perfect for the two of us, although there is definitely room for more. Immaculate, comfortable, and everything we were looking for. We will definitely stay here again whenever we're in this area. The owners were so accomodating and made us feel right at home. Close to the town of Shelton, which has more restaurants than you can imagine for a town its size, one of our favorites being The Strip, a quaint little steakhouse with absolutely magnificent food. Thanks again so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!!
