  Such an ideal place to stay in New York as it captures the true experience of the city. The location could not be any better. The apartment is perfect for two and is kept up very well. Ken was great with responding right away with any questions I had and was very helpful. Next time we visit New York, we will definitely stay here again.

  the photos of this rental didn't do it justice.....the rental was on a typically quaint greenwhich street..the apartment was clean, well maintained, charming and the perfect home away from home.....i should know because i was a west village resident for 12 years..the owner was incredibly helpful and he left no stone unturned in order to make my stay memorable......i would recommend this property to anyone who wants the chance to live like a real new yorker.......can't waite to return..........

  My wife and I stayed here for a week recently (September 2011). I have nothing but praise for the apartment and the manner in which is described. Absolutely fabulous! The information given about the area is understated. The owner meets you, explains the "how to" of the various appliances, and assures you of his ability to be contacted if needed (thankfully we didn't have cause to call) and says simply make the place your own. We felt as if we were at home. Very very comfortable and convenient to EVERYTHING. The only thing we did not use was the wine fridge, our wine didn't get time to go there! If you're going to NYC this is the place to stay!!!

  I agree with the previous reviewers. The place is actually nicer than the pictures convey. Perfectly clean, functional, comfortable and perfectly located. Less than a one minute walk to several good/great bars, dining, people watching, yet on a quiet tree lined street. This will be my first choice when visiting NYC in the future.

  We couldn't have asked for a better place. It's small, but the utilization of the space was great. The location was easy to access 3 major subway lines within a block or two, not to mention the ton of shopping, restaurants & bars, etc. the neighborhood has to offer. It's on the ground floor in the back, so decent light and no multi-story walkups at 3am. Great neighborhood feel. A little loud in the morning due to some home construction nearby, but not awful - plus we were up early to take advantage of the time we were there. The owner was super responsive and very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend staying here!

  We have just returned from NY, having stayed at the Pied-a-Terre in the West Village. The place is absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures show - if not better. It might not be big but hey, one know that when one hires a Pied-a-Terre - the space is more than plenty for a couple. It has everything - a hairdrier, powerful air conditioning (billiant in the 37 degrees we had), microwave, etc. + even a vine cooler!! The location is absolutely beautiful - everything one needs is close by, lots of little cafes and restaurants (The Spotted Pig, Minetta Tavern, Magnolia Bakery, Kestes etc.), Soho and the Meatpacking District - with all their shops, life (both night- and day-), historical sights, people etc. I promised myself that I would write a review here if I was pleased - and VERY pleased I was :) Compliments to Ken, the landlord.

  I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. A perfect apartment in one of the best areas of NYC. The layout of this apartment is just great. It has a wonder ambiance and is tastefully decorated. You could not ask for a better location. Restaurants, bars, etc., are just steps away. The owner was wonderful to work with. He was incredibly accommodating and provided more tips on what to do in the area than any concierge at any hotel I have stayed at in New York. I could have not wished for a better experience.
