My Wife and I spent the week before Christmas in this wonderful Penthouse apartment. The place was very clean, well equipped, excellent location and had spectacular views. From this location we were able to walk to Rockefeller Center, Broadway theater, Bryant Park, New York library and many excellent restaurants. A wine shop and market were convenient so that we could have a nightcap while looking over the most exciting city in the world.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed here in Dec with husband and two older teens. The apartment is just as described and the views are outstanding. The main bed is particularly comfortable and the aerobeds are great to extend the sleeping arrangements but not take up space. It is quite well equipped and very clean. Owner was very helpful in answering questions both prior to and after booking. Agree with previous comments about location in terms of restaurants and theatres. Take the opportunity to check out the theatres right nearby- we saw excellent theatre at really good prices. Have already recommended to friends and would certainly stay here again.

We spent 4 nights in this penthouse apartment and it was fabulous. The details and photos are exactly as advised. The condo was very spacious and everything we needed was available. Great location within a moments walk to Times Square with easy access to all NY is famous for. Spectacular views! Thank you for allowing us to "live like New Yorkers" in the city that certainly never sleeps!!

I stayed in this apartment with my husband and 2 girls (aged 4 and 7). It was very comfortable, very convenient and fairly quiet considering the proximity to Times Square. If we were ever to go back to NY we would most certainly stay here again!!

In questo appartamento troverete tutto esattamente come si vede nelle foto; la vista è stupefacente, la camera da letto ampia e luminosa, l'angolo cottura funzionale e completo, il bagno delle giuste dimensioni (senza bidet, come è normale nei paesi anglosassoni), la camera principale molto confortevole e ampia. L'appartamento, un attico, è nuovo, o perlomeno tenuto come nuovo; aria condizionata, stoviglie, ferro da stiro con asse, asciugacapelli e molto altro; per gli ospiti oltre a quelli che dormono in camera da letto sono disponibili dei materassi gonfiabili e sgonfiabili elettricamente, molto pratici e comodi; direi che 4 persone stanno perfettamente nell'appartamento, ma all'occorrenza anche di più (noi eravamo una famiglia con due adolescenti). La posizione è invidiabile, pochi passi da Times Square, e si trovano tutti i servizi necessari: la metro, un supermercato quasi di fronte aperto 24 ore, un punto vendita di "99cent fresh pizza" all'angolo, insomma un soggiorno da urlo, soldi ben spesi.

This place was everything that was promised. We doubted that we could see the fireworks from the penthouse but found out we had a great view of the river! Everyone was friendly and the view was awesome.

Please allow this note to serve as our whole hearted endorsement of this location. This choice was convenient for our needs to take in the city of New York, New York! From our initial dealings with your doorman to arriving in the Penthouse to see our breathtaking view we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Your Penthouse was clean and the amenities were as promised. The reason for our visit was to enjoy our son’s university graduation and festivities. There were plenty of details to address during the graduation week but once we entered the Penthouse we knew that our accommodations would be the least of our concerns. This was a far better choice than staying in a hotel. Times Square was within walking distance. My wife is the early riser. After purchasing a Sunday New York Times and a chai, she spent an uninterrupted hour at the beautiful Bryant Park. As satisfied customers the best flattery we can offer is to simply say that our next visit to New York City will include another stay in your Penthouse. Thanks for helping to make our stay a great one.

Excellent Apartment!

I booked this apt for myself, my two daughters and three granddaughters to introduce my granddaughters to NYC. Usually the pictures online are better than the actual thing, but not in this case. The apartment was fantastic! We had plenty of room and the aerobeds were so comfy as well as the bed. The views were amazing and the people and the doormen were absolutely helpful and friendly. In fact, everyone befriended our 4 year old. It was a delightful part of our visit. It was a short walk to broadway to take in a show and also to everywhere else we needed to go. I make a trip into NY periodically for a show with one of my daughters and we have stayed at hotels. This time I couldn't find a hotel that would accomodate us all without having to book 2 rooms - we all wanted to stay together. This met our needs - actually it more than met our needs. The parking across the street was very convenient and the rate doesn't get any better. The hotels charged us double what the rate is. I can't say enough aboiut this apartment and would recommend it to anyone. We will be booking it again for all our trips into the city.

Fantastic property, and lodging experience

We selected this property for several reasons. One, the owner was extremely prompt in responding to my initial inquiry, and answered all our pre-booking questions thoroughly. Second its central location made it a logical choice for our travel needs while in New York, with Times Square, Broadway, and museams all easy to reach. We found that the entire space was superbly appointed and clean, with exactly what we needed for our stay. It was as beautiful as the photos, and even more spacious than they reflect. The views were sumptuous, with river, city lights, and Times Square just to the right. The amenities were exactly what are described on the VRBO listing to a “T”. The bed was comfortable, the air beds easily assembled for our daughter’s use. The kitchen had everything needed as well, right down to the coffeemaker with built in filter, a small and terrific touch. Also, the onsite laundry was easy to find and we gratefully used it Sunday night. The rainy weekend we had was no deterrent to our ability to get out and about to Times Square and environs, with the penthouse serving as a welcome respite at the end of our sojourn. Its central location also allowed us to travel around Manhattan with ease, either by cab, or on foot. The subway is near as well. The property is also located next to two charming restaurants, Chez Josephine, right next door, where we spent an enjoyable rainy Saturday evening enjoying a delectable meal to live piano jazz. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this one during your stay! (Ask for Carlos) The next morning we enjoyed another local restaurant, a diner just two doors to the right of our property. A spirits shop is nearby, and also my favorite restaurant in New Your, ESCA is just one block over on 43rd. (Ask for Bradley) This location is one that I would recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy the peace and quiet combined with great location such as Broadway, TImes Square and all of Manhattan that is available when your rent this property. I intend to stay here the next time I am fortunate enough to make it to one of the most wonderful cities in the world, NYC.

Fantastic apartment! This was everything we were looking for when searching for a place to stay while in New York. We wanted a top floor, great view, spacious living area, and convenience to subway and Midtown Manhattan. We got it all. The apartment was very comfortable and the views spectacular. It was exactly as the pictures show. It's great to know that we have our new 'go-to' place in New York now. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

As a Sydney girl obsessed with New York, it doesn't get any better than this. A friend and I rented this apartment for 21 days from December 26 2009. It's even more beautiful than the photos. Unlike some small, claustrophobic hotel rooms, the apartment is very light and spacious, making you feel like you want to make this your home. The location is absolutely perfect. Right between 9th and 10th Avenue on 42nd Street, near the area known as "Hells Kitchen", there are hundreds of fantastic restaurants, bars and clubs on your doorstep. Not to mention Times Square a stone's throw away, the Port Authority Bus Terminal and access to all the subway lines just a short stroll away. Lots of great food markets just across the road in case you do want to cook in the fabulously appointed kitchen. the property sparkles, and contains everything you could need. In a few days I will be back in New York for the third visit... and it will be my second time staying in this apartment, so needless to say, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make their New York experience absolutely special.

This apartment is great! Centrally located - we were able to walk back to it from several Broadway shows, and when you walk in the door the view is fantastic! Large, clean and has everything you need. Internet cable is next to TV cable box. Communication with owner was easy and reassuring. Subway is half a block to all lines, and very convenient/easy to use. Pictures on the site are the real thing, it is exactly as described and more. We would stay again, and have recommended it as a way better alternative to very expensive Manhattan Hotels. Broadway shows, Madison Square Gardens, TV tapings are only a few subways stops away and fast to get to. We enjoyed it tremendously - thanks!

Great apartment! It is right in the middle of the action, just a short walk, maybe 4 blocks, to Times Square and even shorter walk to the Port Authority station with connections to anywhere in the area. There are groceries, bagels, piza and diners within a two minute walk. We will certainly go back!

We have just returned from a w0nderful 5 day trip to NYC, and can heartily recommend this apartment - fabulous location [we walked fronm the apartment to literally everywhere!], safe area,friendly doormen and great diner right next door. Apartment has the most amazing views and everything you need - airbeds are SO comfortable and the 4 of us had plenty of space. We will not book a hotel in New York again, this is the way to live in the city and we are already planning a return winter trip!

From the friendly doorman and concierge this flat is a real treasure. Only a couple of blocks from Times Square but far from the tourist crowds. Everything you could need, from a supermarket right across the road, a diner with great breakfast next door and great choices of restaurants just around the corner. The view is spectacular! Very clean and modern flat, my one wish would have been a king size instead of queen bed, but you can't everything. I am a picky 5 star adventurer and I was really happy here.

We wanted to find a place to stay where we could feel like New Yorkers. The apartment is centrally located and more comfortable than most city hotel rooms. It gave us space to spread out and relax. The front desk staff and door man were helpful. Penn Station was conveniently nearby. The owner met all his commitments and was responsive.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient, this condo was exactly what I was looking for on my recent trip to NYC. Located in the middle of the action, it was yet a quiet oasis of peace and luxury high above it all. The views of Manhattan were stunning, a reminder of how big the Big Apple really is. All the amenities were there as promised, more than I could use, and everything worked. The doorman was helpful but not intrusive. The owner was friendly and accommodating. This condo is highly recommended for those who want to appreciate what the big city offers while having their own quiet space to unwind with all the facilities at hand.

5 times in NYC and I finally found the place I want to stay in for every trip! The place is A-MA-ZING!! The view, the building, the Kitchen, bathroom. Modern, beautiful, clean 3mn from Time Square...there's no place like this one!!! Don't even think about going somewhere else!

We just returned from our vacation in Manhattan and stayed at this remarkable, spacious, immaculate , gorgeous condo! The condo was amazing and included 24/7 doormen (lobby), gym, laundry facilities and all the comforts of home! We were convenient to all the sights, restaurants , Hudson River, subways and shopping to name a few. This amazing condo went way beyond our expectations and I would recommend it to everyone. The furnishings were beautiful and added such a New York flare to our accommodations. After a hectic day of sightseeing, it was euphoric to relax in our bed and look out the floor to ceiling windows to a display of breathtaking, magical lights of the Manhattan skyline. It also had floor to ceiling windows in the living room. One could easily become mesmerized just looking at these spectacular views!! This elegant condo offered everything we were looking for and we can't wait to return. The owner was VERY helpful and provided us with a very smooth and perfect transaction.Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us. We will definitely be back!!
