Don't let your budget "ruin" what South Beach is all about.. Every guest that has stayed in one of my units have left and come back agai! half of my clients are repeat clients.. Pros and cons of Setai ... This unit excellent value for money

We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks. Unit is luxuriously appointed and has everything you will need for cooking and sleeping and beaching. Tons of towles all fresh, all various kinds of cooking instruments (cutting boards, cheese graters, garlic press). My only recommendation is to make it a King size bed. Bed has large box frame which is easy to bump foot on and should be upgraded. Mattress and pillows are not very comfortable. Shower and private jacuzzi are awesome. Kitchen appliances (Sub Zero) and Big Screen TV with surround sound system is great. Furniture very comfortable and luxurious. Regarding Setai: Neighboring hotel had party music all the time which drowned out the relaxing Setai pool side music and nothing can be done about it. This seemed to be worse on weekends than during the week. Setai is luxurious but food prices are obscene for mediocre quality. For instance drinks are $20.50 for 8 ounces served in a plastic cup pool side (this includes the mandatory gratuity but tips are extra). The drinks are mediocre at best. Beach picnic prepared by Setai is $350.00. You cannot have lunch for under about $75.00. We didn't even try dinner at the hotel. For the cost the quality should be better. For the most part service is excellent. Beach staff service is superb. Staff come by to relocate the sun shields and attend to needs with no expectation of a tip. You want great service Setai is the place. You want great food or drink bring your own food or eat somewhere else. WARNING: NEVER GO DURING MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!!!! It is Hip Hop Urban weekend. There was a drive by shooting 4 blocks from our hotel on the same street of the hotel and a 2nd shooting about 6 blocks away. Vile & racist people all over the street littering doing hard core drugs and causing tourists to stay indoors and owners to flee the town. hundreds of police cars. Unbelieveable traffic congestion with people competing for the loudest raceist rap music shaking hotel windows. Anti-Gang Task Force Cops with Secret Service agents (for counterfitting) and helicopters all over the place. You only send your worst enemy to Miami Beach during Memorial Day Weekend.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

This is a great condo at an amazing hotel. My girlfriends and i have stayed in this unit a number of times. We visit South Beach often and this condo is great luxury at an affordable price. Peaceful yet close to the action. Amazing service on the beach. This unit is in the "condo" wing of the hotel and you get 5-star treatment as if you were an owner. Not unusual to see a celebrity in the elevator or in the lobby. You get the same service as a hotel (room service, etc) yet you can buy your own food and save money cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen. Great for short or extended stay. There are many "expensive" trendy hotels in South Beach that cost a fortune and are not half as nice as the Setai. You won't be disappointed staying here!! We are repeat guests and I highly recommend staying here.

I have stayed here with my family twice already. I just gets better every time. Super exclusive and relaxing environment. We spent most of the day at the pool and beach. Crowd is mostly composed of condo owners. Def recomment to anyone over any of the local hotels!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.
