We had a great time at the cottage. It was nicely decorated, clean and cozy! Gary and Cathy were great to talk to and respected our privacy. This cottage is in the woods and is convenient to what the whole area has to offer. We will be back!!

We stayed in the cottage for 8 days and loved every minue of it. It is charming, cozy and beautifully decorated. While it is not in Bigfork proper, it is a short drive along the Swan River into town. Each evening there were deer grazing right outside our windows. I highly recommend Swan River cottage to couples or small families who enjoy a peaceful cottage in the woods.

Hi Cathy: This note is so long overdue, I'm embarrassed, but I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your cottage during our stay in September. As usual, we returned to a whirlwind of events, and the peacefulness of your place seems a distant memory! We definitely are planning to return to Montana at some point (when I look at the pictures, I get "homesick"!). Thanks for everything, Cathy, and I will be in touch. Enjoy the holidays in your beautiful state. Warmest regards, Pam

We just a wonderful week here celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The cottage was clean and comfortable. A beautiful setting--we enjoyed watching the deer and fawns walk thru the front yard. also a humming bird nest on the side of the cottage. Cathy and Gary were so accomendating to all our needs. And gave us great suggestions on places to visit and eat.The town of Big Fork is so quaint and quiet. Great place -- would come back in a minuete.

Aug 2008: Thank you so much for your warm welcome in the middle of the night!! You really made me feel at home in your beautiful Swan River Cottage. The cottage was ideal and you're right about Swan Lake - even prettier than Flathead Lake. May God continue to bless you, Rev. Barbara.
