Enjoy the year-round outdoor pleasures of the Mt. Baker area in comfort. This peaceful cabin, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in the gated community of Snowline, less than a mile from the National Forest.

This is the gateway to the unsurpassed wilderness of the Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan backcountry, the Class III waters of the Nooksack River, as well as world-class ski slopes of the Mt. Baker Ski Area.

The forests and peaks of this area provide a multitude of recreational pleasures.

Summer is hiking season: from gentle strolls in old growth forests to wilderness travel amid towering peaks and through high-mountain meadows of flowers and seasonal berries.

Opportunities for wildlife viewing, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, hang-gliding, rock climbing, glacier walking, tennis, swimming, boating, fresh water fishing and nature photography also surround this vacation retreat.

Winter brings the joys of snowboarding, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing through the backcountry and at the Mt. Baker Ski Area.

You can relax and enjoy these mountains without leaving Snowline. Curl up in the cabin in front of a warm fire. Unwind in your private gazebo amid firs and hemlocks, or rest on the sunny deck and in your private hot tub.

Swim beneath Church Mountains’ peaks in the community swimming pool. Tennis, badminton, basketball, softball, and volleyball can all be enjoyed here. Children have their own playground and can try their luck in Snowline’s stocked fishing hole. A short walk can take you along the community’s forested path that provides dynamic views of the Nooksack River.

The cabin has a large, secure storage area for your outdoor gear. The rental is completely furnished with fresh linens and a queen-sized bed in each of the three bedrooms. A sofa-couch is in the loft where books and games can be found. A private washer and dryer are by the kitchen. Kitchen utensils are fully furnished for the vacation chef.

For those who choose to dine out, excellent restaurants can be found a short hop away in the town of Glacier and more in near-by Maple Falls. Ski and snowboard rentals can also be found in Glacier along with a small grocery store. This is a remote area not yet reached by cell phones and WiFi. However, WiFi can be accessed in Maple Falls.

Enjoy this family-friendly vacation retreat where all are welcome, including your dog.

The cabin is is 2 hours from Seattle and 1.5 hours from Vancouver. A discount is available for rentals of seven, or more days. In the summer, the hot tub is only available on rentals of five, or more, days. There is no smoking in the cabin.

$219/night (Rent for 6 nights get 7th night Free!)  Rates are subject to
Washington sales tax.  2-night minimum booking is standard, with a 3-night
minimum for holidays.  One week before holidays a two night booking can be made.
All reservation changes are subject to a non-refundable fee of $10/night. All
changes to holiday rentals are subject to are subject to a reservation fee equal
to the first night's rental.  Changes within 14 days of non-holiday rentals are
subject to a fee equal to the first night's rental. Cancellations made later than
7 days before rental (15 days for holiday rentals) will be charged full rental.
