Once you arrive you can put the car keys away and bike or walk just about anywhere in Pacific Beach! Sea World is less than 5 minutes south, all major attractions, restaurants, shopping, and water activities are close at hand. All freeways are minutes away and easily accessible. No need to go through Pacific Beach to get to the freeways...this is great during the busy summer season when the streets are busy.

Why the Owner Chose Pacific Beach
My wife Carol and I are both native to San Diego and more importantly, we've grown up with the beach as our playing ground. When it came time to chose our beach home, we hadn't heard of VRBO nor the awesome oppurtunities it provides. That said, we chose the Bay side over the beach for many reasons: Although we both love to surf, and enjoy a meal at one of resturants on the beach or drink at one of the local hangouts, it was very important to us, to chose a home that when we wanted to leave the craziness of "beachside" we could go home and still have the water as our backdrop and the peace and quite of a "non-beach" crowd...the bay was it! Bayside, you have it all...the sand, the water, the boardwalk and so much more...when the sun sets unlike the beach and its darkness after sunset, we have night lights that run off the dinner cruise's the pass our home well into the night. Additionally, unlike the beach, we have sail boarders, skiers, kite surfers and wind surfers right out side our door, yet when we want to head downtown for something the beach scene doesn't offer, or just to get to the airport for example, the freeway is less than 5minutes away and there's no beach scene you would have to normally fight. And one of the most important issues to us...this is a traditional home meaning there's a house to my right and left and behind us, in fact our neighborhood is your traditional home feel, that happens to be on the beach...not a condo, nor a house stacked between apartments or condo's with hundreds of college kids partying like rock stars a window away!
The Unique Benefits at this House
World famous Sea World is less than 5minutes away...all beach activies such as volleyball, paddle ball, horse shoe throwing,water sking or just laying in the sun, is right outside our door. Yet it's much more relaxed bayside, yet as mentioned, the beach is just a 5-10minute bike peddle away. Additionally, as this is our primary residence and not your everyday rental, you won't find the traditional trappings such as sand incrusted carpets, stained crouches and hand me down serving wear. Instead since this is our primary home, when we rent, the renter gets our home just as we have it, complete with China, flat screens, Boze stereo systems, beach crusier's...everything that is ours, is yours!

As much as we love living in San Diego, California, we also love to travel abroad to see all the other beautiful places our world has to offer. We are both enjoy a very active life style and our home enviroment reflects that. Our travels have taken us to many memorable places, like our countryside drive in Scottland (pictured) but it's always nice to get back home to our Sunny San Diego!
