This oceanfront estate sits on a lot of approximately 10,000 sq ft., with 130 feet of ocean frontage. Enjoy and share our beach with the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. You will be staying halfway between Waimea Bay and Haleiwa town, on the famous North Shore surf spot Chun's Reef, four miles from famous Sunset Beach!
The home was originally constructed as the 'Laniakea Train Station' in the late 1800's. We have raised the home above the winter surf on large cement pillars, added wide wrap around lanais, and in 2009 added a beachfront hot tub for the exclusive use of our guests. The interior was remodeled in 2006, and decorated with antiques from around the world. Expect digital TV with HBO, full kitchen, dishwasher, microwave oven, washer and dryer, telephone, gas or coal BBQ, beach gear, snorkel gear, boogie boards, soft top surfboards, kayak and wireless internet.
Upstairs, downstairs and detached private garden cottage are available together, or separately.

Marlu West, has been an environmental activist on Oahu's North Shore for over 35 years. She manages Hawaii environmental organizations Save The Sea Turtles and Adopt A Beach. She offers private Sea Turtle tours for guests and runs regular Adopt A Beach cleanups.
I am a widow and a very active senior. I have been a Realtor and owner, on site at my property, for 30 years. I have had Civil Defense training and ocean awareness training. I am from Mexico City & Laguna Beach CA.
I pay State taxes monthly on my rentals and I keep my prices low, so that I have nice families stay with me. I do not charge more for Holidays.
I offer for Free- a "huge" amount of beach and ocean equipment-because-- I have 14 grandchildren, all off Island and every year they seem to add more. The rental of this equipment, a day, would be very expensive.
I also offer 20% discount on most of the 33 activities located 7 miles from my home. I have no hidden fees and I have 99% happy guests. I return my security deposits on time! "Please see my guest book on line.”
I pay top dollar to my cleaning team, to ensure my home is steamed and cleaned, top to bottom, after each check out. We try to keep the inside of the home chemical free and our Jacuzzi uses Ozone only. We do have a pest control service outside. Security cameras, animals and smoking are outside.
I offer 30 years of security on my properties, at a level not commonly found anywhere on the North Shore.

My wife and our Granddaughter stayed in the upstairs for a week. It was about 10 months too short, we really didn't want to leave. The owner is a fascinating wordly traveller. The collections of beautiful objects in her home to share was like staying in a museum, every piece of furniture was hand picked and unique. We enjoyed dinner with the owner and shared stories of life's travels. The beach and view is like being on the bow of a boat. Turtles, mantarays, and surfers kept us entertained all day. We thank you for sharing your beautiful home, you are a gracious host. We will return again and again. John, Kathy and Dayu
