We are a Norwegian family who would like to welcome you into our country house, near Carcassonne. Maison Tranquille provides accommodation for 12-15 people. If you like to be catered to, and don't want to think about the cleaning we do offer that as an option. The house is 15 km from Mirepoix, 30 km from Carcassonne. There are five en suite bedrooms which are air conditioned. Each bedroom also has a comfortable sitting area where you can relax. On the mezzanine, you will find tea and coffee making facilities. There are two sitting rooms with comfortable seating and a dining room with a large table that seats up to sixteen people.The large terrace gives you ample opportunity for relaxing, reading or eating outside. You will enjoy our south-facing garden which is well stocked with lavender, palms, olive trees and other mediterranean plants. There is also a pond, and plenty of space to enjoy a leisurely stroll or just to sit and enjoy the surroundings. For a longer walk there are many paths in the area. If you prefer other sports, we also have a petanque pitch.
