Maison Tranquille is a perfect place to bring your family on holiday, in the middle of rural France, near Carcassonne. MT provides accommodation for 12-15 people, in five separate bedrooms all with private bathroom. Airconditions for hot summernights. If you like to be catered to, and don't want to think about the cleaning we do offer that as an option. The house is 15 km from Mirepoix, 30 km from Carcassonne.
Big kitchen who makes cooking a pleasure. There are two sitting rooms with comfortable seating and a dining room with a large table that seats up to sixteen people. The large terrace gives you ample opportunity for relaxing, reading or eating outside.
You will enjoy our south-facing garden and freeform swimmingpool about 5 x 11 meter and 1,35 meter deep, sundeck for sunlowers, and changeing space under roof. The gardn is well stocked with lavender, palms, olive trees and other mediterranean plants. There is also a pond, and plenty of space to enjoy a leisurely stroll or just to sit and enjoy the surroundings. For a longer walk there are many paths in the area. If you prefer other sports, we also have a petanque pitch.

- Shared Pool: Freeform swimmingpool about 5 x 11 meter, 1 m35 deep with an island in the middle. For sun lowers there is sun beds around the pool. Next to the pool there is a coverd area where you may change or stay a little in the shadow.

- Full Kitchen: Very well equiped kitchen. For example Fridge, frezer, dishwasher, gaz stove top and ovn + electric small ovn. There is a kenwood major + smaller mixers -juicers etc. Microwave, kettle, toaster...Good selectons of pans and cooking dishes as well as serving dishes.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: The kitchen is often used to prepare dinners with 7-8 courses for upto 16 persons or 3-4 courses for upto 30 persons.

- Deck/Patio: There is a big terrace with two long table wich easy seats 16 people, a smaller round table for 6-8 persons ad other sitting table some in the sun some in the shadow or underneath the roof. Southfacing with wonderful view of the garden and the village lake.

- Lake View: There is a clear view of the lake below, with the garden and a litlle field inbetween. It's a two minutes walk down to the lake and if you like there is a foothpath all the way around it. Well stocked with fish and a lot of bird- and wild life around. Behind the lake is more fields and some woodland.

Outide there is lot's of space to play in the garden, a lttle treehouse and the swimmingpool with the little island is highly recommended. if the want some playmates our children are 8-10 and 12. They can say hello to the chickens and horses. For the smallest ones there is a cot, highchairs, alarm, litle bathtub..
