This is our second time to stay here and we will stay again and again. I gave this house 5 stars, because of the following: It is clean! (I wish I had the maid who cleans this house. It's spotless.) It is comfortable. Lots of plush towels, soft linens and pillows, very nice kitchen wares, and comfortable seating. It has the necessities already there. Usually when we rent elsewhere we have to go immediately to the store for necessities. This had a big role of paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, new bars of soap, all kitchen condiments all there so you don't feel stressed but are ready to go. It's close to the Jamestown dock so we could get quickly on a boat, or state park for it's activities. The owners were so nice and ready to help at all times. I would definitely recommend this house to everyone.

2 families stayed at the house during our boating vacation and found everything to be outstanding! House was clean and well stocked with all of the necessities needed for a great stay. Beautiful view, plenty of parking, and close to the marina for launching of the boat. Slip was convenient and marina provided necessary transportation when needed. Would highly recommend to others and will be using it again in the future.

In a word; beautiful! We spent Thanksgiving 2010 & will definately plan another visit soon! The floorplan is well laid out, offering each family much privacy on three floors along with a private bath for each. There are plenty of plush bath towels & the house is very clean. The open greatroom offers a gorgeous view of the lake through a wall of windows & cozy fireplace. The kitchen was also well appointed, however some of the cookware/baking sheets could be replaced due to wear. That is the only slight critique` we have! The surrounding area offers much to do with many parks nearby. We enjoyed hiking & also a trip to Cumberland Falls. The neighborhood is quiet & the night sky offered more stars than I've seen in ages. Lovely, lovely home away from home!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Beautiful Lakeview Home in Jamestown, Ky. The house well exceded our expectations. It was decorated beautifully and was very clean and accomodating to all of our needs. The lakeview was gorgeous and even though, it is on the opposite side of the street from the lake, we could see clearly the marina and way beyond. The view is incredible. The staff was courteous and we would highly recommend staying here. We plan on making this an annual vacation destination.

This house is absolutely wonderful! It is hard to find a such a nice place to stay in the area. We were close to the marina and had a beautiful view of the lake. The house was very comfortable both inside and out and we each had enough space to relax. Also, the owners were very nice and available for questions. I hope to stay there again!!!

This is a beautiful vacation home that was way beyond expectations. The home is beautifully decorated and well fitted for a large family. The beds got high compliments all round, and we got great use of the downstairs gameroom. The boat slip we rented at Jamestown Marina was 5 min. away. When not on lake we enjoyed horse back riding, go carts, and mini golf all within 15 min. It was a great vacation and great place to stay. Would do it again in a heart beat.

This is a comfortable and well-appointed home -- private yet convenient. We had a wonderful time and there was plenty of room for our group of eight. Loft bedroom was spacious, all bedrooms were quite comfortable, and the kitchen was great.

What a wonderful home you have! We felt right at home in your comfortable lake cottage. There were eight women and we each had plenty of room. There were THREE baths! We only expected two! We left it as spotless as we found it, and hope to make this an annual event! We rented a pontoon minutes from the house, and enjoyed most meals from your huge umbrella table on the front deck. What a view!

Very nice lake home. Our family loved it. Lots of room. Nice furniture, comfortable new beds/new bedding. Nice bathrooms. Even a large selection of DVD's if you have a rainy day. The location is great. The front windows give a nice view of the lake. Good value.
