At the entrance pillars of stone extend from the outside into the foyer, blending with an expansive living area encased by unobstructed views of the pristine forest and mountainside beyond. You will also be amazed by the wood floors, which are made from Ancient Chinese Elm that was harvested from timbers used in construction of temples and palaces during the Ming Dynasty.
Alaskan cedar trusses and hand-forged iron work elegantly frame each space on the main floor where the dining room, great room, morning nook and Chef’s kitchen flow together in one space to create an ideal setting for holiday events, family gatherings, and intimate nights. The 2008 Parade of Homes Award Winning Chef's kitchen has everything you need for a gourmet meal or a simple snack with its chic European appliances, massive island, informal eating area, and excellent layout. This bedroom also has it's own bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Why the Owner Chose Lewis Ranch
As a third generation Colorado native I simply LOVE our beautiful state and have grown up skiing each one of it's fantastic resorts. My husband is originally from California, but fell so much in love with Colorado that he relocated here. His favorite place to ski is Copper Mountain and mine is Vail. So we decided to build a second home in Copper Mountain that we could enjoy and share with our large family and endless friends. It is perfect because we can walk out the front door for alpine skiing and the back door for cross country. And Vail is only 20 minutes away. Of course we can't always get away to our beautiful home, so we decided to share it with others who would appreciate it as much as we do. And that is why we decided to use VRBO.com- a very reputable and reliable website- to help us offer our home to considerate and friendly people to create fabulous vacation memories.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Awesome ski in/ski out location to Union Creek.
This chairlift you can see form our front door. It accesses the green runs as well as blues. From the top of this you can get to lifts that serve black runs too.
This is the ski access that is approximately 25 yards from our home and leads directly to the ski slopes.
Pristine forest land that also has maintained cross country and snow shoe trails.
