This was our 1st time using a condo opposed to a Hotel and we will never go back to a hotel! It was an AMAZING Experience! They had every thing we needed to have a great time and relax. Jackie's condo was clean, beautifully decorated made me smile upon returning every time. The notebook in the unit which had a map of the resort, information for things to do and menus for some of the local restaurants was soo helpful! The pool and Lazy river were amazing, lots of chairs and tables to sit around the pool so we could relax. The Pool was clean, the pool area was clean the grounds we kept up really nice. The Beach was in walking distance and was breath taking. Thanks Jackie for being so helpful and awesome to work with!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Amazing Vacation!

My family and I just got home from our stay at the Destin West. The condo was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, including chairs we could take to the beach with us. We are a family of five and had more than enough room. The patio provides a wonderful view of the lazy river and the bay. We spent every morning drinking coffee and enjoying the view. The beach was only a short walk to the other complex and was beautiful. I think we actually spent more time at the lazy river and pools bayside though. My kids loved to go out swimming after dark when they light all the pools up. Within five minutes you can get to the Destin Harborwalk which is where we went parasailing, on a pirate cruise, snorkeling, and a dolphin cruise. The boardwalk, which is in walking distance from the condo, had some wonderful restaurants and shopping. Jackie was great to work with. This was our first time renting a condo in Florida and she made the process so simple and let me know she was always available if we needed anything. Our children our 6, 11, and 15 yrs. old and everyone said this was their favorite vacation. We will definitely be back next year.

Jackie is such a pleasure to work with on this rental. The condo was beautiful, couches were comfortable, kitchen was stocked well, and it was kid friendly.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently returned from a wonderful family vacation to Destin West. The complex was beautiful and convenient. Jackie's condo is in the Heron building just steps from the pool and lazy river. It is also right by the bay and all its fishing spots. The condo is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The owner, Jackie is most pleasant to work with. When booking this condo you are actually renting from an owner on VRBO who truly cares about your experience, not a rental company posing as an owner. We visit the Emerald Coast yearly, and this is one of the nicest well equipped condos we have stayed in. The building is on the bay side which in my opinion is preferable. It is only a short walk to the beach via the sky bridge (the kids enjoyed playing Frogger) Thanks Jackie for providing such great accomodations, can't wait to come visit your condo again.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Jackie was very easy to work with and did a great job accomodating us. The lazy river access was perfect for our 2 young children. The condo was very tastefully decorated and clean. The resort was well maintained. A nice perk we found was that you can use the Ramada's pool with waterfalls and swim up bar and the splash park is right by it. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

This was a fun and enjoyable experience! The property was better than expected. This unit was clean and well maintained. The unit had beach chairs that we could bring to the beach; which saved us chair rental fees. I will definately be back and will definately rent from Jackie again! Everything was AWESOME!!!!!!

First of all, the owner, Jackie, was pleasant to work with, a very lovely person! We had such a great time at Destin West. The unit was wonderful--nicely decorated and had everything we needed--the third bedroom is separated with louver doors which was great.....we had friends in another unit that was open to the kitchen, so that was a very nice feature to our unit. The number of beds was great for one or two families to share. The property was great, too........we enjoyed the lazy river and the pool. It is somewhat of a 'walk' to the beach, but we had a beach caddy which helped out. We also enjoyed the pool area at the Ramada Inn across the street which Destin West guests have access to. It was a wonderful time and we would definitely contact Jackie in the future to visit again! Thank you for helping us create another great vacation memory!!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Comment Text: Our family just finished a wonderful 7-night stay at Jackie's Heron 307 (3 bedroom) condo. It is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped for making meals. One of the cleanest condos we have stayed in. The balcony is very large with a table that seats six - perfect for eating and enjoying the beautiful grounds and bay. Jackie provides great information on local entertainment, and even provided a great route to get there. Our next trip to Destin/Ft. Walton - this is definitely where we will be.

Great condo! We've stayed at Destin West several times and this unit is the best. From the furnishings & decor down to the silverware, this unit is first class and very CLEAN. Great view of the lazy river & the bay from the roomy balcony. Communication with Jackie (owner) was never a problem. We highly recommend Heron 307!

We really enjoyed Jackie's condo during our six night stay in April. The condo was clean and professionally decorated with ample space for our family of six. The large floor tiles, granite counter tops, spacious master bed/bath suite and large patio area was very enjoyable. Jackie made setting up the stay very straight forward by providing helpful driving directions and a code to the key-less door lock for a convenient no check-in required. I would highly recommend a stay in Jackie's condo.

I have stayed in Jackie's condo a couple of times now and every time we stay here we have the best time. Her condo is really top notch. It has very upscale decor, not like some that are pastel and seashells everywhere. I cannot say enough about her place and her customer service. I will stay here everytime I travel to Destin!!!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay in Jackie's condo - it was a Mother-Daughter Spring Break vacation with 2 moms and 4 teenage girls. The condo was beautifully decorated, full of amenities and very clean. The keyless entry is wonderful so that no one has to worry about losing or exchanging keys. The complex with the pools and the lazy river is great. And the beach across the street is one of the most beautiful stretches along the Emerald Coast. I will definitely stay here again! Jackie made it all so easy to rent and we had a great time! Thank you, Jackie!

Jackie, I wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time at your place this weekend. Your condo is one of the most beautifully decorated places we have stayed. You did a great job. I love the colors and furniture. The master bed was soooo comfortable. It was very nice to find the quality of kitchen accessories you have. I always bring some pots/pans/etc with me but you had everything we could have needed and more. We have stayed in condos/houses that have the cheaper pots/pans/dishes, etc. but your stocked kitchen was beautiful and very nice. Again, thank you for making our weekend a very nice trip. My parents were so impressed with your condo. They never stay in rented condos and haven't been to Destin in over 20 years. They loved it. We will definitely be contacting you to stay again sometime. Thank you for making everything so nice.

We absolutely loved your unit 307 Heron at Destin West!!! It was a pleasure to stay in! It was decorated beautifully and everything was so nice and comfortable and CLEAN!!! I do not know if that is because it is a newer unit or you have some terrific people who care and clean your unit! Do not lose those people! It means the world to have the place so clean! This might sound funny, but when you rent a nice place that is dirty - it makes your skin crawl and you just feel uncomfortable the whole time......but your place was definitely not like that. We treated your place as it was our own and took really good care of everything! Thank you again for renting it to us! We had a blast, and especially our kids! Thank you so much!

It has been so hard to be back at work the last two days! I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your condo. We were so impressed with how nice and comfortable everything was. I was talking to several ladies down by the pool one day, and they both said that their condo was dirty when they checked in. We had quite the opposite experience, as everything was very clean and tidy.
