I found this home after carefully researching several properties in the area. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a park nearby. The house is close to anything that you may want to do in Orange County. We traveled to Disneyland, Angels Stadium and the Los Angeles Colisium. The house was clean when we arrived and the grounds are well kept. Mark was easy to work with and I got my deposit back within a week of leaving. This is a great place if you need 3 or 4 bedrooms. The house comes with a state beach pass but we traveled 10 minutes further south and hit the Newport Beach area it was a great day.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I found this house after originally reserving 3 rooms for 8 people at a local hotel. I searched this site and found this home and Mark was great to deal with from the start. The house was perfect for our family who were in Huntington Beach for my niece's wedding. The house in comfortable, with a great patio where we all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night, especially my 12 year old son. The amenities included for the beach were great as there were enough bikes for six of us to enjoy a ride to the local beach nearby. Mark also included his favorite spots for dining, riding and all other local activities we might enjoy. A great find and highly recommend it!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We booked this house for a week in August. Mark was very helpful and nice over the phone. Due to an error on my part, we had to cancel. Mark was kind enough to refund our deposit when he was able to rent the home again for our week. Mark is clearly an honest and helpful owner, who treated us with great fairness. I hope we can rent this house in the future!

Our family stayed at this house over the Christmas holidays. This house was very conducive to our needs with plenty of room and amentities. We really appreciated the bikes and space. Close to the beach and piers. Great fun!

We had a WONDERFUL week the end of July in your home, Mark! This is the third "beach" home that we have stayed in and, by far, the best! We loved the yards, the spacious rooms, the beach extras (bicycles, umbrellas, chairs, baby bed, high chair, etc.) that we were able to use....along with the free beach parking pass. We had everything we needed. Our family of 7 adults and 1 grandson had the best of times!! And, even nicer, we received our deposit back immediately upon our return home! Thank you so much!! We will be back!

Spent a week in Marks house at the beginning of June. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first foray into house rentals as apposed to hotels and resorts. Am planning to rent same house next year. The house is better in person than the pictures show. Mark makes sure everything you could possibly need is available to you. Perfect location, far enough from the beach that you get privacy in a quiet family oriented neighborhood, but close enough to enjoy the beach in less than 10 minutes. The house and grounds our beautiful, you feel like you are at your own private resort. We have found a new favorite way to travel and it's all thanks to Mark and his house.

Mark, We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home. Everyone loved the "oh my God" room up stairs. There was plenty of room for all the groomsmen to get ready and the rest of the family comfortablely. It was also nice to come back from the beach to a quite place. We had a terrific time and the home was ideal for us. My family and my brother-in-law's family shared the house with four children (8 people total), as we were in town to visit the grandparents for the week. Everything we could have wanted was provided and the location was perfect. We spent time at the playground at the end of the street daily (sometimes multiple times per day), which was a perfect place for the children to run free and to kill time between various activities. We used the bikes almost daily too for rides to the beach and the park. There was plenty of room inside the house for us to all have our privacy, but be very comfortable in the living room(s) and kitchen together. Many thanks to Mark for going "the extra mile" for us too: we have an 18th month old child and I asked Mark ahead of time if he had a high-chair at the house. He did not, but made the extra effort before our arrival to purchase a brand new booster seat for us to use while we there. That was a huge blessing to us and gives a good sense of how well he cares for his house and his guests. I would enthusiastically recommend this house to anyone!

Mark, we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas vacation in your house. We were able to find shopping, enjoy the beaches, visit Disneyland, the Aquarium and we even made it to the mountains to play in the snow! There was ample space for a family of 8 and we especially appreciated having 3 bathrooms. Our kids played at the park, we grilled in the backyard and enjoyed the big screen tv and internet. Coming all the way from Texas, we were a little nervous about the whole rental process, but when we arrived the house was very clean and the yard and the neighborhood were just lovely. The simple Christmas decorations were a thoughtful touch. It was great to have a "home away from home" for a week and we appreciated your quick response to any questions that came up. Mark, thanks for a wonderful week in your beautiful home. We loved the quiet street and the lush gardens in the yard. The BBQ,Crusers, beach pass & supplies are a great addition. We road daily along the warm and sunnny beach. The home has such easy access to the beach. I had fun taking my grandaughter to the little park at the end of the street. She loved it. It was a super place for our family to meet and enjoy being together. We loved the jacuzzi tub and master bedroom and deck. We were surprised and pleased that Disneyland was so easy to get to and from with no traffic. Tish & John

11/7- 11/9 Mark, you have such a beautiful home! Everything was just perfect. Aside from the home itself, the location is simply ideal. Less than a mile from the beach, it made our weekend that much better. The house is simply amazing! It slept 10 people comfortably. What blew us away was the beautiful backyard. Very private with lush gardens and lots of space for quiet evenings of bbq-ing while enjoying the fresh, ocean breeze. Will come back next year!

This beautiful home became bridal week and wedding day headquarters for our Orange County bride and her out-of-town maternal family members. In a word, it was PERFECT! The bride and her maid of honor luxuriated & readied for the wedding in the upstairs master suite, while the rest of the extended family enjoyed the amenities of the first floor bedrooms, spacious living areas, and private backyard. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home so much. It had everything we needed and more. It was a few houses from a beautiful park, the area is clean and safe as well as close to the beautiful beach, shopping, entertainment, restaurants, etc. I didn't have to pack beach towels or toys as Mark had all that, as well as bikes, boogie boards, etc. We really had a blast. Mark is very kind, honest and easy to work with. We accidentally left our computer cord and he had it in the mail back to us as well as our deposit the same day we talked to him! WOW!!!! We appreciate again, the use of your beautiful home and look forward to staying here again. Thank you Mark.

We were looking to get out of the Arizona heat and head to the beach for a family vacation and we found the perfect spot!! This house was gorgeous! It was loaded with amenities that made you feel like you were at home. The beach is close by and so are all of the wonderful southern CA attracations. This house was beautifully decorated and super clean. Mark was extremely hospitable and his directions and instructions that he leaves for you were really helpful. We would definitely go back again. My family & I stayed at the Huntington Beach house for a week and felt as if we were at home. The house is very cozy with a great backyard - perfect to enjoy the beautiful evenings of sunny southern california. The amenities were perfect - especially the beach bikes and boogie boards. The kids never wanted to leave the beach. Oh, did I mention the beach was within walkin distance. The neighborhood is quiet and close to supermarkets which makes dinner time a whole lot easier. Thanks for the hospitality.

My family had a wonderful stay at this beach house. It was big, clean, open, lots of room, and perfect for our family reunion/gathering. I had a wedding in Huntington Beach and a few of my relatives from Chicago stayed at this house. They were very happy with the convenience and space this house has provided. This house sleeps 12 comfortably especially with its 4 big bedrooms and different types of beds (king, queen, twin, convertible twin). There were also 3 bathrooms, which helped a lot when my family was getting ready for the wedding day! It is close enough to the beach and to top it off, there were boogie boards, bikes, beach umbrella that came in handy when my family from Chicago went to the beach. They had a blast. I would definitely rent this house again when we have lots of relatives visiting us here in Huntington Beach.

My family and I took a vacation to Los Angeles and our primary concern was staying in a good area without overpaying. The Huntington Beach house was not only in a good neighborhood but it was a great property as well. It felt like we were staying at home while on vacation. The house is very well kept and is loaded with tons of amenities to make the stay pleasurable as well as comfortable. Mark was an excellent host that made our trip an incredible experience. The instructions we received from Mark prior to the trip were extremely helpful. It became our tour guide to what we were going to do. Overall if we were to visit Los Angeles again we would definitely rent from Mark.

This Huntington Beach property is a real gem. The internet pictures do not do this house and grounds justice. It is tastefully decorated, clean, and great for entertaining small groups or family vacations. It is located near public beaches and within an hour of theme parks and athletic events. There is shopping nearby this upper end, clean, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Our stay was during record breaking heat of 100+ degrees F in San Fernando Valley and 90+ degrees F in Los Angeles but at this house it did not get up to 85 degrees F. with the windows and sky lights open. The grill holds 12 hamburgers at one time. The in-ground spa is great for unwinding after a day of sight seeing, sunbathing, or shopping. Our guests fell in love with the house and complimented us on our choice of this property. We look forward to coming back again in the future. If you are looking for a memorable vacation home in Southern California, this is the place!
