My husband and I stayed 3 nights in this wonderful little cottage and it felt like a week long vacation! The accommodations are extremely comfortable and well appointed - good bed, good amenities, appliances, etc. The best part is the gorgeous garden, of which renters have full use, including sharing in the bounty of the vegetable garden. There is a hammock strung between two shade trees, and had we not had 5 plays to attend, I would have spent the whole time in the hammock, snoozing and reading. The owners of the property could not have been nicer or more welcoming, without being intrusive. And, of course, the location is perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to the theaters, downtown, Lithia Park. We will definitely stay here again.

Melody and Jeff made us feel like we were at a home away from home. The two weeks we stayed were not long enough to enjoy the comforts of their charming guest cottage. Walking in their beautiful gardens and relaxing in the hammock made our stay the perfect summer vacation. OSF and all that downtown Ashland has to offer is only a five minute walk away; most days we didn't even use our car. The cottage is perfect for a few nights (although you will want to stay longer) or months. Total comfort and charm, with the sweetest cat in Ashland to play with :) We will be back next year!

My daughter and I stayed at the Pine Street Cottage in June, 2011. We had a wonderful time! Melody and Jeff were so inviting and helpful. They have the most beautiful gardens and we both learned a lot about gardening too. The hammock was WELL used! I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to "get away from it all" while being close to town.

Hello, Melody and Jeff - We wanted to thank you for the wonderful hospitality in your cozy little apartment which we so enjoyed. It was perfect for our needs, and we especially appreciated the proximity not only to downtown Ashland but also to the terrific walk up Granite and on around the reservoir. Great way to start each day. Thanks, too, for the scrumptious biscotti which we devoured. I've never made it in my life so was amazed to learn from Jeff that you make them from scratch, Melody. Wow! What culinary talent. We look forward to staying with you in the future. Again, our thanks for your warmth and hospitality. Penny and John

We were so lucky to find such a wonderful place to stay while visiting Ashland. The cottage is lovely and private and overlooks a beautiful garden. The location is great and is walking distance to downtown Ashland where shops, lithia park, shakespeare festival and quaint restaurants are found. Both Melody and Jeff were so helpful in letting us know the fun and interesting places to eat and venture. We had such a terrific stay! Thank you Melody and Jeff for being such gracious hosts. We will see you soon!

Pine Street Cottage is our home away from home when we visit Ashland. We used to stay in hotels every year during our annual trip until we were lucky enough to stay here and enjoy the warm hospitality Melody and Jeff provide. The full kitchen more than meets our needs and the location is ideal; we are able to walk to all our plays. The cottage offers a beautiful view of the garden and the neighborhood is lovely. We can't wait until our next trip!

Thank you, Melody, for a wonderful place to stay as we experienced Ashland for the first time. Your tip about the reservoir was a God-send on that very hot day. And most of all, your generosity of spirit is so appreciated".

"We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Pine Street Cottage. You're wonderful hosts, and the cottage is cute, comfortable, clean and convenient-the 4 "c's" ! It was so nice to visit with you and play some music too. And the memory of relaxing in your hammock will stay with me. We're looking forward to a return visit".

"Your cottage was perfect. After 10 years of staying on the edge or outside 'the magic'...this time we were right in it. It was so great to walk to the park, to eat, on to the plays. Your hospitality (and fresh veggies) was very much appreciated. I'm sure you will hear from us again soon".
