Wireless internet is available in the entire house (and pool area!) The home is 200 yards from one of the widest points of beach on Fort Myers Beach. Fort Myers Beach is actually Estero Island, a seven mile island that is not attached to Fort Myers City. Powder white sand beaches span the Gulf of Mexico shore. There is a free public boat ramp just south of the island on Lovers Key. Restaurants and shops dot both sides of Estero Boulevard. There are 2 large supermarkets, a Publix and a Topps on the island. Just northwest of Estero Island are Sanibel and Captiva Islands. A half hour drive south takes you to Naples for elegant dining and lavish shopping. The largest mall in the US and several factory outlets are within a half hour drive.As a friend recently told me,"Why go anywhere else?
