Built in 1917 the house is wonderfully intact, down to the original woodwork and authentic stone fireplaces. Guests will find numerous places to relax in the comfortable and rambling home, from the original sleeping porch, to the book-lined living room, to the huge birch swing facing the lake. Antique lovers will delight in discovering genuine Stickley furnishings scattered throughout the home.
The house includes the use of the classic Adirondack boathouse, where guests may dock their own boat. Also included is a swim raft, perfect for diving into the clear and refreshing waters of Lake George. Exploring the surrounding area is fascinating, from nearby historic Fort Ticonderoga to the beautiful nearby Champlain Valley. Burlington, VT. and Lake Placid are both within an easy drive. Experience the feeling of this classic Adirondack camp and return home refreshed!
