The peaceful 'The Lake Front Nest' offers its visitors the opportunity to relax & unwind. This very comfortable and spacious home, located within the gates of the Rumbling Bald Resort, is ideal for families and offers plenty of activities for kids of all ages.
The 2200 square foot home is spread over 3 floors. Each floor has a bedroom and full bath. Most every room offers a view of Bald Mountain Lake.
The entry floor has a great room with a wood-burning fireplace, master bedroom with a king-size bed, a bath, a fully stocked kitchen, and a sunroom/dining room.
The upper floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath with tub. The loft area, called the siesta room, is ideal for reading or napping and has a queen size futon.
The lower floor offers a large family room with a queen sleeper sofa, bath, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a wet bar/kitchenette with a microwave & refrigerator, and a laundry area.
Access to the decks and dock are through the large sliding doors that abound on the entry and lower levels. Deck furniture including rocking chairs and a "picnic" table are part of this home's comfortable charm.
The private dock on the clear lake, accessed via meandering stairs and walkways, is the perfect spot for swimming, canoeing (a canoe is provided), fishing, or just plain relaxing.
All amenities offered by the Rumbling Bald Resort are available to our guests. Linens (bed sheets and bath towels) are included.
