Casa Yin Yang is comprised of approximately 5000 square feet of casual luxury. This beautiful tropical home has an open and inviting social area, including a largeBrazilian stone terrace with an Indonesian teak dining set for 8-10. The terrace also has an ample social area comprised of and an outdoor Indonesian style rattan living room set & oversized Indo Bed/Sofa, for maximum relaxation. Adjacent to the terrace is the non-chlorine swimming pool & Jacuzzi with imported glass tile & Columbian stone finishing. A typical palm roof Teak ”rancho” with hammocks and an open sun deck complete the pool area. The social area enjoys beautiful views of the ocean, waves, giant plumeria trees and exotic tropical gardens. We have over 7 different types of colorful plumerias from Costa Rica, Hawaii & Brazil on the property, tons of coconuts, bananas, guavas, lemons, papaya, water apples, noni & more. The wildlife is abundant & you may see iguanas, centosaurs, monkeys, anteaters, armadillos, sea turtles & even whales right from the deck. There is also a pair of 3' tall tiger herons nesting on the property, white tailed hawks, frigate birds, pelicans, paroquetts & more. The kitchen is the heart of the house, open to the terrace, and comes complete with stainless steel GE Profile appliances. The main sink looks to the ocean, and the second sink is built into the kitchen island. You'll find this gourmet kitchen complete with Columbian stone counter tops, Cuisinart stainless steel cookware, a Sonoma outdoor gas grill area and virtually everything you need to prepare any meal. The living room has a 37' flatscreen plasma TV w/Sky Satellite TV and DVD, and comfortable, cushy 'L' shaped microfiber sofa. The spacious and well ventilated laundry area offers a full size GE washer and Dryer, several lines to hang wet clothes, and large wash basin style double sink.

The bedroom area is separated from the social area by a Zen stone garden, which incorporates a giant "Yin Yang" symbol. The master bedroom has wonderful views of the ocean and gardens, and is only steps to the Jacuzzi and pool area. The oversize master bathroom has 'his and hers' hand carved natural stone sinks with customs cedar cabinetry, and a spacious indoor/outdoor shower area which includes a stone tiled bench, Double Overhead Helvex Rain Showers and magnificent sunset views. The second and third bedrooms have ample closet space and share a beautiful and spacious travertine marble bathroom which has a pleasant cross ventilation from all four windows. The separate sink, shower and toilet areas provide space and harmony to this wonderful design, accented with a hand carved limestone Buddha from Java. The hand carved above counter natural stone sink and brushed nickel Helvex fixtures complete of these wonderfully spacious bathrooms. Each bedroom has a separate 18,000 btu LG Art Cool A/C unit with remote control, Columbia stione floors and is screened for your comfort and convenience. Casa Yin Yang is also "Kid Friendly". Casa Yin also has the flexibility of offering a comfortable tropical 2 bedroom guest house on its lush 2 acre private, gated lot with 60 meters of beachfront. This home is also comfortably appointed with A/C in all the rooms, ceiling fans and is fully screened. There is hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, palm roofed gazebo (rancho) w/hammock, rear terrace with outdoor shower, safe, alarm & much more. Plus you are just steps to both Casa Yin Yang & the beach.

Casa Yin Yang is a full-time private residence available for rent on a limited basis, with or with-out the guest house.   • I stayed three days in this amazing private tropical cottage styled house right in front of the beach and it really was the best. The house has all facilities you can ask for, it’s very tastefully decorated and you actually get the feeling that you are inside a premium lifestyle magazine. The house is perfect for 2 couples, a family or as the ultimate honey moon retreat. Stefan & Nicole is a very charming couple. They were super sweet hosts that gave a top not notch service from the very beginning. The place and the surroundings of beautiful Santa Theresa was an extraordinary experience and I'm sure I'll be returning next year. Thanks Stefan and Nicole and hasta la proxima!   • Luxury, oceanfront accommodations for a great value. The exterior rooms - living and dining room, pool, hot tub and hammocks offered a peaceful serenity every day, all steps away from the beach. The sunsets were amazing every afternoon. You can walk to many shops and restaurants or stay tucked away in this amazin oasis. We went surfing, fishing, zip lining, exploring other beaches and found this is the perfect place to be.

The house is better than the pictures show. Super comfortable and surprisingly luxurious. I already miss my naps in the hammock listening to the waves. And your beach is one of the BEST in the world. Can't wait to come back and see another sunset. It all was smooth. From the ATV riding on along the coast to the visit to that insane Spa. Can't wait for my next visit. Pura Vida!

  • We have just arrived home after spending two very relaxing weeks at Casa Yin Yang. From the time we arrived past the front gates we knew we had found a very special place. The gardens are lush, the trees are full of songbirds, you can both hear and see the ocean waves from every part of the house. My favourite was, from the big open window in the kitchen, I could see my kids surfing!!! The beaches are not crowded and are perfect for walking, which we did everyday, early morning and evening for the sunset. We were pleasently surprised at the amount of great restaurants to choose from in the area. The house comes with a book full of ideas of what and where to go, and there is lots of action if you choose, but the truth is we loved the house and location so much we stayed put most of the time. We have rented villas all over the world and Casa Yin Yang is now on favourites list. Thank you Nicole and Stefan for sharing your slice of paradise. We shall return.   • We have stayed at many private homes in the area over the past five years and Yin Yang is by FAR the nicest place we have rented. There isn't one thing about the house, location or service at the house that we would change. We have four active boys who were never bored, never not mesmerized by the beauty and wonders of the area and the friendliness of everyone in Santa Teresa. Nicole and Stefan have created paradise and we were thrilled to be able to share a piece of it!

I would highly recommend them all.... The location is perfect! Great surf is at your doorstep, fantastic ethnic restaurants, friendly people, spas,grocery store and much more.
