Lovely home July 2011.
Lovely home July 2011.
We travel to the Keys for our annual vacation and try and stay at different locations each time. Over a period of ten yrs, this is the best overall set-up we have experienced. This spacious home is situated on a large corner lot offering two seawalls. The dockage is expansive and the short trip to the ocean is a plus. Virtual wrap around balconies provide tons of space and three stair cases. The parking below can accomodate more cars than you would need. The interior of the home is basic which is fine for any Keys experience. 4 bedrooms with 4 bath, means plenty of privacy and nobody tripping over each other. The A/c unit in this house wll blow your wig off if you're not carefull. A pleasure stepping into a cool home after a day in the hot sun. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. The only negative I have is that it is extremely tight, trailering your boat onto the property. Thankfully we did that twice only, upon arrival to unload and then again to pack up. The rest of the time the boat sat patiently at the dock. We launched at a ramp across from the house for a $10 fee, well worth the convenience. (if I had a suggestion for the homeowner it would be to remove the little palm on the driveway and pave a section on the west side of the house for boat and trailer manouverability.) All in all, a fantastic trip with no regrets and a big thank you to the owner for offering this splendid home.
