Great for canoe or gentle kayaking. Come enjoy a cabin on the Chattahoochee River, deep in the forest. Fishing off the dock or tubing and rafting to the bridge about half mile down; or further river excursions-check with Outfitters in Helen, Georgia about seven miles away.
Enjoy the amenities of a small "Alpine" mountain town, shopping, restaurants, bars. OR go hiking, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting in the North Georgia and North Carolina Mountains. Appalachian Trail starts close by and sections easily accessed. Great Mountain Bike trails close by. Olympic whitewater rafting about two to three hours away. Nantahala, Franklin, and Highlands close for a day trip.

- There is a kangaroo habitat about 25 miles away in Dawsonville. Zip line also in 20 miles distance. Tubing in town, Helen is one of the most popular and cheap alternatives for staying cool in the summer as well as a waterpark.

Enjoy the"day", or the weekend for the special day, at this PRIVATE setting with HOT TUB on the deck, wood burning FIREPLACE with fire log and wood provided, and lots of outdoor decks and dock over the Chattahoochee RIVER.. FIRE PIT outside beside the dock. Of course there are 3 bedrooms if you want/need to share the day/ weekend with others.
$125 per night ( 2 night minimum)

We had such a great time at the house! everything was comfortable clean and plenty of room for our family. owners are very nice! bedrooms are spacious and great country kitchen to eat in! If your looking for a quiet, great location for your family to vacation this is it! would definately come back!
Recommended for:Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This house is being updated with tile, hardwood, tongue and groove on the inside. Additional 2 kayaks, a canoe, and tubes to enjoy the river to be part of the low rental, soon! It is remote from a town, no light pollution, great decks to sleep outside,two bunk bed mattresses for this. Now an area is provided for a fire down at the river's edge. Next is better access area by dock for the water activities. So if you have stayed before; improvements are underway, no more Premier Vacation REntal, either. VRBO.
