The apartment belongs to book and art-loving academicians; it is fully wi-fi wired, with a library of classical music CDs, books and DVDs, as well as Cable TV. It is very ample, well-lighted and ventilated, providing wonderful sunset-in-the-mountains views. It is fully decorated with local artisanal crafts and art. It is located atop a 2-story Bed & Breakfast in a historic Art Deco Era building, and the B&B front desk staff provides help finding taxis and allow the use of their computers with broadband internet. The building is very safe, only tenants have access to apartments area. You may use their covered parking lot to park a car, provided they have space available.
An extra bed can be brought into the apartment to sleep 5 if necessary. It has one bathroom with hot water shower and an ample kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, dishes and eating utensils (we suggest drinking bottled water!). Also, access to coin washing and drying machines. Finally, this is THE PERFECT place to watch the world-famous, traditional Holy Week processions, as most of them pass right in front of the building. If you are here for the Holy Week celebrations, this is a "must!" There are many year-round festivities and concerts in the Central Park 2 blocks away and several other walking-distance locations.
THE APARTMENT IS NON-SMOKING ONLY. Guests may comfortably step right outside the apartment to smoke while enjoying the view. |
