The house was great. Plenty of room, nicely decorated, and very clean. The kitchen was supplied with everything you could possibly need. This was our first visit to Kiawah Island and it was a fantastic experience. The owner was very helpful in answering questions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our first visit to Kiawah, and first beach outing with the dogs. 100 Inlet Cove was perfect for us. Short walk to the off leash beach, bike path right outside the door, comfy furniture and well equipped, updated kitchen. Biking the island, running the dogs on the expansive, beautiful beaches - great winter get-a-way. Thank you, fellow dog lovers, for sharing your piece of paradise.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway.

Our experience was very very good! After many years winter vacationing in Hilton Head we decided to make a change and learn what Kiawah and Charleston had to offer. We were delighted with our accommodations, the closeness of a beautiful and expansive beach, and the tastefully decorated cottage we called home for eight weeks. We were impressed by the friendliness of the people we met in and around Inlet Cove. Charleston has the reputation for the most visited city in the USA. We understand why. Thanks to the owners of 100 Inlet Cove we were provided with pertinent information prior to our visit. We loved the Links at Stono Ferry for golf.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners.

My husband and I, our 2 daughters, and our golden retriever had a wonderful break at Kiawah during a quiet winter week. The cottage at Inlet Cove is beautifully appointed, with comfortable, yet elegant furniture, and a well-equipped, granite-counter kitchen, including a much-appreciated fully stocked spice rack. We all enjoyed having wi-fi available, although I'm happy to say the beach and marshes drew us outdoors most of the time, even in colder temperatures, with easy access to the beach and trails. We took advantage of the spa at the Sanctuary and had a great meal at the Fat Hen. The Newton Farms grocery store at Freshfields Village has everything you could want. Being able to have our dog with us made it a very special vacation. I would recommend this cottage very highly to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Kiawah Island.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My family stayed at this location in June, 2011. It was our first trip to Kiawah Island, and were we ever impressed! This house was perfect....the kitchen was recently updated, the bedrooms and living area had very nice furnishings. The location is great, too. It is right next to a bike path and within a 5 minutes walk to the beach or pool. I HIGHLY recommend this house!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautifully maintained and equipped property. The owner was wonderfully responsive and accommodating, making our vacation easy to prepare for and hassle free. We had record temperatures (81degrees) on Thanksgiving so opted to go kyaking with the dolphins instead of cooking turkey! It was a wonderful first (hopefully not last) trip to Kiawah.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

My friends and I spent a week here last spring. Great house - really pretty and well maintained. Owners have done everything possible to make this place perfect. They even had a well-stocked spice rack which saved us a lot of time and money. Nice smoker grill. Really nice screened porch was great for evening dinners. Coffee in the mornings either on the front porch and on the ground level deck. Very pleasant. Pool is large and the dock was great for crabbing. I've stayed at a lot of different places, but from now on I will stay here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have stayed here with my family for the last two years (including our dog!) and I must say, that after going to Kiawah for the past 10 years, this is my favorite. It is a beautiful home that is exceptionally clean, very convenient to the beach and pool, and at a rate that will allow my family to come here every year! Thank you so much - I can stop looking for other places to stay. Just love it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: We are a couple in our fities living in St. Louis. We have 3 twentysomething sons. School and jobs keep us from being together regularly but our family and friends love being together at our cottage where spend countless hours biking, hiking, kayaking and hanging out with friends on the beach. We hope to eventually be at Kiawah full time but unfortunately, that is still a number of years away.
Why the Owner Chose Inlet Cove:
We love the beach and have stayed on nearly every East Coast beach over the years. We came to Kiawah and fell in love with the island, the beach and the close proximity to Charleston without sacrificing the feeling of getting away from it all. We knew immediately that Inlet Cove was our kind of place. It is VERY close to the beach, has great amenities and the people who own and rent there are great fun.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Inlet Cove is perfect. Great beach access! We are a gated community which makes it safe for children to bike and play throughout the community. We have a lovely Olympic size pool, and our private dock is great for fishing, crabbing, or launching kayaks.
