Why the Owner Chose Boonville

Buying a home in this area put us in the middle of a private, rustic area in which we could enjoy so many outdoor pursuits as well as being close to an urban area (Utica) and the center of the Adirondacks (Old Forge). Having our own access to Kayuta Lake was also a big plus for us.

The Unique Benefits at this House

What we enjoy most living here is the quiet, peaceful privacy it affords to enjoy nature as well as the chance to be as active as we wish in the outdoors.

Owner's Map of Boonville

Carl is a retired nurse and Lynne is a retired schoolteacher--still working in the profession through substitute teaching in area schools. We love to travel--often spending time in Colorado and the Caribbean. Our home is filled with interesting objects from our travels--most notably Native American items linked to our interest in this culture. We love the outdoors and sports getting us involved there--hiking, biking, canoeing and kayaking, x-country skiing, and camping. Animal lovers, we have two overly-friendly dogs at the present time. We're both parents and grandparents (11 grandkids at the present time). Because of this, our rental is very animal and kid-friendly. The sports we love to engage in are all found to be enjoyed within 5 minutes of our rental.
