The property is centrally located in a private enclave on a quite bay on Anstruther lake. This cozy, spacious well equipped cottage offers all the amenities you would expect in a luxury property. A five minute drive (2 minutes by boat) to the marina, or a quick seven minute drive to Apsley provides access to groceries, restaurants, post office, medical services and a drug store.
Upstairs you will find a very spacious master bedroom with an inviting queen size bed, private walk out deck, full en-suite four piece bathroom and closet laundry with a stacked washer and dryer. Just a short walk down the hall to the front of the home you will find an equally large well appointed second bedroom with a comfy queen size bed and rustic nine drawer dresser. Need an extra bed? No problem, the sofa in the living room open up into a very comfortable queen size bed and the finished den in the basement has another queen size sofa bed as well.
In the summer do you enjoy the water as much as I do? Then hop into my paddle boat, canoe, or kayak and relax and cruise the nice quite bay, or grab my aluminum fishing boat with 9.9 HP motor and try your luck with some of the smallmouth or largemouth bass. Enjoy waterskiing? Then launch my twin engine jet boat and ski or tube the lake. With twin 185 HP engines it has the power to pull any one up on skis. Prefer using your own boat? Then bring it and launch it free from our own boat launch and park it in your own slip.
Do you enjoy the fall and winter season? ATV, hike or cycle and enjoy the color of the changing seasons. Use the cottage as a base, for some of the best hunting in the world, or take advantage of some of the best snow mobile trails in the country. Cross country ski the local trails, or on the still frozen lake, and then come inside and relax by the cozy warm fireplace and just enjoy the food, the company of friends and family, and the view.
This property features a maturely treed natural setting, year round access, lots of parking, with a spectacular view that is completely private situated on a sheltered bay facing the granite outcropping of the rugged Canadian Shield. Why the Owner Chose Anstruther Lake
It is a beautiful spot. Best of all its quite, peacefull and it is a small, family community with some very nice people. The lake is 6 miles long and only has 220 private residences on it. The rest is crown land that has been allocated to the kawartha heighlands National Park. It is never noisy, it is very private and now that the park is there it will never ever change!

I am a 48 year old professional engineer and I purchased this property from the builder when I came to look at the site! It was beautiful! It took 3 years for them to finish construction and finally I get to enjoy the place!
