BEAUTIFUL IN DESIRABLE CASA DEL MAR LOCATION! Penthouse apartment with a spiral stairway connecting living areas on the 5th and 6th floors. Watch the porpoise play or tropical sea birds dive for fish outside in the Boca Ciega Bay through windows having water views from every room.
This is a rare spacious 1600 square foot condo unit with bright and airy interior rooms. Both floors have large balconies overlooking Boca Ciega Bay. Both bedrooms, located on the fifth floor, are large, quiet, insulated and well away from any activity above.. One has a very comfortable King. The other has two firm Full beds. - Our condo is one of only a few "penthouses". There are two floors connected by a spiral staircase. If you are uncomfortable using stairs the elevator is located right outside the door. Having two floors provides for very quiet sleeping. The living area in on the top floor and the bedrooms are on the lower. There is no noise from the upper level if one wants to sleep in.

Year Purchased: 2004
My wife and I purchased this beautiful condo in 2004 in anticipation of retirement in '08. I am now retired from the fire department and living in NC. My wife is currently working at a large trauma center in Charlotte. We love being able to hop in the car and take mini vacations when our condo is not rented. When we arrive we park the car and rarely get back in. We bicycle almost everywhere. The area is so much more than we ever expected. Easy access to Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota...the list goes on. Ft. Myers has a high speed express to Key West that takes about 3 to 3.5 hours. You can go for the day or as long as you would like. So many things to do...so little time. However, one of my favorites is to relax on the balcony and watch the world go by....
Why the Owner Chose Isla del Sol
We really didn't appreciate all the great opportunities this area has to offer until we started staying there. We have found every aspect to be thoroughly satisfying. Convenience abounds here. We love to hop down to Armand Circle in Sarasota or go into Tampa for a Broadway production. We especially love parking the car and using our bikes to go to Pass a Grille.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There are many owners who live full time in our building. We feel very secure here and never worry that we are at risk. Our neighbors are very friendly. There is also a great restaurant within the community that we enjoy walking to.
