This amazing residence is on the best beach walk-street in Venice. It is an enormous space over four stories. The fourth story is a roof deck. A seductively, ambient space that has it all. Style, panoramic views, the sounds and sights of waves breaking on the sand, intimacy and warmth for entertaining or romance or to just... be. Lay on the oversized day bed in the cabana, watch surfers compete with the dolphins for the best wave or step over to the barbecue and bar and enjoy the views of the Santa Monica Mountains, the Ghetty, the Hollywood sign, snow capped Mt. Whitney and well ... all of LA. Fabulous! The roof deck dining table for twelve sits under lanterns, lush vines and alongside a fire pit and large Buddha water feature.
On the 3rd level, is the sophisticated Zen master suite with ocean views, oversized custom concrete bath and two headed shower w/ rain shower, floating counter and sink. Enjoy the breaking waves from the king size bed or recline on the balcony and enjoy views of the beach, mountains, Hollywood sign, and most of LA.
The 2nd bedroom is also on the third floor. Queen bed and en suite bathroom enjoy views of the Hollywood sign.
The 2nd floor is one magnificent loft open space. Vast amount of light floods through the North wall which is entirely glass. Sliding glass doors that welcome the ocean sounds, fragrances and caressing breezes. Light cascades down from the 17 foot ceiling of glass. The stainless steel open chef's kitchen is the soul of the vastness that adjoins the living and dining rooms. The media center is located in this space with theater quality surround sound, enormous flat screen and elite speaker system for ipod -- that can be played in each room (controlled from volume control in each room). The highlight of this space are the collector's pieces of mid century designer furniture, art, object d'art and books. And... the oversize Nicaraguan hammock on the balcony.
The ground level suite is a gorgeous space, that leads to the patio and side yard with water wall, hammock and lush garden. It is ideal for the Nanny or parents or extra couple. A generous space that can be can be a 2nd living space & TV room as well as a 3rd bedroom. A quiet space to chill after the beach. Very soothing as well as elegant.
Shower off after the beach in a hot outdoor tropical shower. Bikes, boogy boards, beach play equipment are accessed from an outdoor activity room.
Walk along our fabulous walk street, the short few steps to our beach, restaurants, galleries and for groceries. We can provide a must do list of what to soak up, enjoy, and where to buy all that you expect to during your visit.
If you forget your ipod we can provide one that contains an astounding chill eclectic play list, classical, jazz and the best dinner party play list anyone has ever heard. |
