This family cabin is named Rantalahti (Ranta's Bay) to honor the couple that built the cottage and raised their family on the lake.
Centrally located on Lake Vermilion, a short distance drive from Cook, MN, it offers a convenient and relaxing opportunity for individuals or families to vacation.
The cabin, located just feet off the water, offers stunning views and access to the lake literally right at your doorstep. The cabin features knotty pine woodwork through out. A private covered boat dock, a wood fired sauna, and a rocky shoreline are just some of the amenities.
The bathrooms and bedrooms were renovated in the Spring of 2006, making this home a first class property!
The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen feature a vaulted knotty pine ceiling and walls. Two wood-burning fireplaces are provided in the living room.
Modern conveniences, telephone, satellite TV, and DVD, are available for your use.
The deck is located off of the living room. It stretches to about 7 feet from the water. If offers great views of the lake and has room to sit out and barbeque.
