If you are looking for a traditional, affordable, family beach house at Garden City Beach, THIS IS IT! The DUCK'S NEST is located one mile south of Garden City Pier. Located on two second row lots at 1002 S. Waccamaw between the Atlantic and Murrell's Inlet, the house is easily accessible with two flights of stairs. Downstairs, you will find a bedroom with 2 Double Beds and a Full Bath, as well as plenty of covered paved parking. Enjoy a flat screen TV also downstairs! A washer and dryer are in the utility room, next to an outside shower. You could live downstairs with your own TV, AC, refrig and phone, and never have to climb stairs at all! You can also enjoy a large back lot that is perfect for children to play, or families to grill and gather. Then, walk on to the large, private, floating docks that overlook Murrell's Inlet. Here, you can dock your boat and enjoy skiing or swimming in the Inlet, crabbing; shrimping; or sitting on the dock to enjoy quiet time!
Upstairs, you will enjoy a large deck overlooking Murrell's Inlet; a screened back porch with table and chairs, and deck furniture for sunbathing. On the front of the house, there is a large screened porch facing the beach area with rocking chairs ready to enjoy the view! There is also a large deck to sunbathe, or gather friends. Inside, you are welcomed to a large sitting area; a flat screen TV for cable TV; sliding glass doors; extra large picnic table that seats at least twelve or more; ceiling fans in dining room; and a full kitchen with microwave, phone, coffee, and all utensils provided. Sit here and enjoy views of Garden City Beach on the front, and Murrell's Inlet on the back! Who could ask for anything more!! The first front bedroom has two Double Beds,with adjoining Full Bath to a back bedroom, with one Queen Bed. On the opposite side of the house, the front bedroom has two Double Beds and an adjoining Full Bath. A departure cleaning service is provided. For swimming, there is a public beach access on the right side of the DUCK'S NEST as you cross the street. It takes about two minutes to walk to the beach! WI-FI IS AT THE DUCKS' NEST! NOW YOU CAN WORK WHILE YOU VACATION ALSO!

Thank you to Shirley & family for sharing "Duck's Nest" with us.The listing description is accurate....You do get the best of both worlds... the roaring Atlantic across the street and the quiet world of the inlet in your backyard. It was a special treat for us to enjoy this part of the Grand Strand at your home. Shirley could not have been more helpful in assisting us with our stay.

Duck's Nest is a wonderful house to vacation at the beach! My favorite place is front screen porch with rocking chairs---good ocean view---can hear the waves crashing on the beach at night. Very relaxing. Home is very clean and nice-updated kitchen. Our young people enjoyed sitting on the floating dock at night just talking or playing cards. Easy beach access. Definitely recommend to family and friends. Looking foward to next year !!!!! Barbara

The Duck's Nest is a great Beach House. The Ocean Views and Inlet views are amazing! Beach Access is the easiest possible, right across the street. The house is a neat, spotlessly clean cottage and perfect for our family! Thanks for a great week at Garden City!

It has been a family tradition to vacation at the "Duck's Nest" for many years! It's a wonderful cottage with modern features! The fishermen in our family love the boatdock on Murrell's Inlet and the beach is just across the street. Perfect combination!
