The Enchanted Cottage allows you to do just that with both style and affordability. The living room sofa pulls out into a queen size bed. Perfect for a second couple or for your kids. Remember, the cottage boasts three rooms, so you can use the four-season porch as your living room, while using the living room as a second guest room. We've provided a collection of great games. Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly for you all to enjoy together. The kitchen, with its clothes washer/dryer is incredibly practical for families staying with children. With so many of your needs taken care of, you can truly enjoy your time with your children and friends. Harbor Knoll can even provide babysitting services. Massages in your cottage can also be arranged.
The Gardens and Grounds
The Enchanted Cottage is set amid a beautifully landscaped property on Peconic Bay. The English flower gardens provide a lovely spot for quiet contemplation and conversation. One-hundred-year old trees provide shade and protection from the summer sun. In the summer, there is a garden bed full of hydrangea in magnificent blue, pink and purple hues. Relax on an Adirondack chair with a glass of lemonade while watching sailboats glide across the harbor.
Last but not least...the Beach!
As if a charming cottage amid glorious gardens is not enough there are chaise lounges on the sand for your comfort. Here you can listen to the gentle sea breezes. Go for a swim! There is even a dock where you are weclome to sit and relax.
Needless to say, the beach is a marvelous playground for children. They can swim, skip pebbles on the water and collect seashells.

- Air Conditioning: Two in the wall units, one in living room and one in the bedroom controlled by the renter
- Washer: One combination washer/dryer in the Kitchen for the exclusive use of renter

- Linens Provided: All bed and bath linens are provided as well as kitchen towels and beach towels. Room service provides fresh towels and linens as needed

- Cable/Satellite TV: There are two TVs in the Cottage. There is a 36 inch LCD wall hung TV with cable in the living room which has about 200 channels. There is a wall hung flat screen 20 inch TV, wall hung, almost with cable in the bedroom. Both operate with remotes

- Video Library: A number of DVDs are provided.
- CD Player
- Private Pool: There is a heated swimming pool which Cottage quests have access to in the mornings. It is used exclusively by the Cottage guests and the owners of Harbor knoll
- Kitchen
- Full Kitchen: There is a small kitchen with a good size refrigerator, oven, toaster, stovetop, microwave, blender, coffee maker, sink and washer/dryer for clothes. It is fully equipped with china, glasses, pots and pans etc.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, tea kettle, coffee machine, blender. There are a good supply of glasses, cups/mugs china etc.
- Refrigerator: Kitchen has a new 18 cubic inch refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
- Microwave: There is a wall hung microwave with high power for cooking
- Ice Maker
- Catering Available: Basic breakfast items are provided and a full breakfast is included in the rent at the nearby Bed and Breakfast, where refreshments are available during the day and wine and cheese is provided in the evening.
- Outdoor Features
- Deck/Patio: There is a patio in the garden for sitting outside. There is also a porch/sunroom, which is screened in the summer and glassed in during the winter.
- View/Location
- Beachfront: The property has 175 feet of waterfront with beach which provides some of the best waterfront views in the area. It looks across at Shelter Island. The water is clean and good for swimming and very safe.

- Telephone: Local calls are provided but not long distance
- Computer: A laptop computer is provided with dial up internet.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Wireless internet is available.

- Beautiful Garden, private and quiet. Walking distance to Village and transport available to NY Manhattan. Short distance to approximately 40 wineries. - No Pets Allowed: No pets allowed says Buckley our King Charles Spaniel!
- Kid Friendly: The Cottage can accommodate two kids but they are not allowed in the Bed and Breakfast. The beach is available for kids, plus the garden, a jungle gym and the swimming pool during morning hours. There are a number of activities for kids in the Village.
