"TRULY A HEAVEN'S HORIZON VIEW" If you want a vacation memory, stay here and wake up to wonderful views from the master bedroom or enjoy the hot tub sitting high on the deck for the great mountain view. In the fall the Daniel Boone National Forest goes to sleep under a blanket of fog. From the deck you can relax and watch a crisp, cool, fall night unfold. In the mornings the fog begins to burn away, unveiling a kaleidoscope of fall colors and the sparkling lake below. This 3 BR cabin has new bedding and sleeps 8 people comfortably with 3 Queens and a Queen sleeper sofa and 2 BA. Amenities are 2 TV's, DVD player, cable TV, hot tub, gas BBQ grill, gas fireplace, Jacuzzi tub in master bathroom washer/dryer, Mountain View, pool table, 2 Nintendo 64 Systems, many family board games in hall and a phone for local calls.
The cabin is located within the secure, gated Lake Cumberland Resort (Managed separately by A Better Rental At Lake Cumberland).
$300 refundable security deposit required by credit card, remainder due 30 days prior to arrival date. $100.00 cleaning fee includes hot tub. Check in 4pm, check out 10am.
Weeks are counted as 6 nights with check out on the 7th day. Rental agreement must be signed prior to arrival.
Cancellation policy: 30 days prior - Return 50% of rent and return of security deposit. Less than 30 days prior to arrival - no refunds given.

This was a very nice place to stay. I really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. The description and pictures accurately reflected the house. I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed here October 13-16, 2010. The cabin is just as the pictures show. There is a wonderful kitchen and two additional really nice bedrooms not shown. We were able to cook full course meals without having to improvise on pots or utensils. The cabin is very secluded and extremely quiet. We loved waking up to hearing a rooster crow somewhere in the valley below! Everything about our stay was just perfect. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space to store our clothes and the washer and dryer were very convenient. We went to Cumberland Falls for some hiking. There were plenty of games in the cabin too. We will be back again! One alert....this is an extremely "dry" county. All the counties around are dry. You can buy beer over the border in Tennesee, but if you are planning to have a drink while relaxing in the hot tub, make sure you bring your own! Had a wonderful 4th of July 2010 here! My family of 8: 4 adults, 1 teen, and three children had plenty of room. The upstairs bedroom allowed for a quiet get away for Grandma and Grandpa! The pool table turned out to be a big hit with everyone. The deck and hot tub was spacious and overlooked the valley. It was beautiful. We rented a boat on lake Cumberland and it only took 15 minutes from our cabin to get to the marina. This is a clean, newer cabin that is on a hillside with a fantastic view! There is one house next door that you can see so it isn't as secluded as we first thought it would be but it really wasn't that big of a deal. The grill on the deck is small so we cooked all our meals in the kitchen. I will rent this cabin again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
