We stayed here over the 4th of July holiday weekend. It was wonderful! The cabin/cottage was so clean both inside and out. The hot tub and bathroom gleamed. We had plans to do quite a bit out and about the area and ended up staying in a lot and just relaxing. We grilled on the back deck, sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the rockers on the screened in front porch. What a great place to relax!!!

We stayed at Ridgeway Cottage last month, and really enjoyed it. It is conveniently located near a lot of attractions, affordable, and the owners are super-friendly and accommodating. When I expressed an interest in renting the place, Andy sent me a link to a lot more photos of the place, which really helped in making our decision. The cottage is clean, well-equipped and nicely decorated - we really felt at home there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an enjoyable, peaceful vacation in the Smoky Mountains.

My husband and I brought our dog up from Florida last summer for a mini vacation. The owners of this property went out of their way for our (very!) late check-in, and they were super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and hammock, as well as the magazines and brochures in the living room for things to do in and around the area. They had a book about Scavanger Hunts for local hiking trails and we borrowed it over the weekend, which created great adventures and beautiful pictures for us! The only negative aspect was that the beds seemed smaller than queen-size, which may not bother you if you like to snuggle up, but we like to stretch out and relax, so it was cramped. The shower pressure was a little low--not ideal after a long, sweaty hike. Other than that, our stay was absolutely perfect. You can't beat the price! It is such a bargain! And the location was great...just a short drive into the Park for great hiking and scenic photos. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a great vacation for a great value. My husband and I had a wonderful time exploring the area and relaxing in the jacuzzi, and the dog was fascinated by the near-by horses. We all had a great time!
Owner response:Thank you for the review Megan, We appreciate all feedback about the cottage. I want to apologize for the water pressure. I was unaware the the water pressure was low. Water to the cottage is supplied by a well so the pressure varies when the pressure tank fills and releases or if there is a problem. When our current guest checks out it will be checked. The beds in both rooms measure 80"x60" which are queen beds as advertised. Thanks again for your review. Sincerely, Andy Vaitkus

My wife, son and I had a great time at the Ridgeway Place Cottage. Everything was exactly as described, and there were great views from both the screened in porch and the back deck. The hot tub and hammock were both very relaxing. We hope to stay here again in the near future!

This cottage was the perfect place for my family of five (one of us being a dog) to have a great weekend getaway. We were very close to Harrah's Casino for some adult fun, and close to the Great Smokey Mountains for family fun. You are also very close to local restuarants and the grocery store. The owners of the place was very accomdating to my family's needs. We had a great family time at night playing with all the board games that they had. In the 14 years that I have been a mom, this was the best Mother's Day Weekend ever for me! If you want to relax and enjoy a great family time, this is the place for you!

My mom, cousin, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in a great location relative to great shopping and restaurants. Room size, design, and decor exceeded expectations. Great privacy, view, and amenities. The accommodations were top notch, warm and inviting. No details were overlooked. Was truly a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Cherokee or the surrounding areas.
