This cozy family lake house is located on Nantahala Lake in Western North Carolina. The house is located directly on the lake with beautiful views. There is a floating dock. There is a very large deck that overlooks the lake with a large grill and outdoor seating.
The inside of the house is very open with a large newly remodeled kitchen. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all adjacent and open. There is a newly added screened in porch with overstuffed denim covered furniture.
There are three bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom has its own full bath and the other two bedrooms share a full bath. There are two king beds and one queen.
The walkout lower level has a half bath and laundry area. There are 4 bunk beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. There is also a "buck stove". The lower level also includes a TV area which is a nice place for the kids to hang out while the parents enjoy the living room area.
The lake is 300 feet deep, so it is very, very clean and the summer temperatures are delightful. Over half of the shoreline is owned by the National Forest, so it is a very under developed area. There is a grocery store in Andrews which is about 20 minutes away.
