The pictures don't lie. This was by far the best place we've stayed at in Foutain Hills. All amenities we're close by and once you've set yourself up there is no reason to leave. It's like your own private resort. I would definately recommed staying here and plan on going back next year. It was a true pleasure. Thanks Ray

Our family of 9 visited Fountain Hills in Nov/2011. The town itself (24,000) is very clean, with many points of interest and plenty of trails, sightseeing & activities to keep a family of 9 including 3 small children busy. We loved walking around the infamous fountain and took our grandchildren to the 2 playgrounds, We were also there for the annual art and craft festival where many artisians display incredible artwork, pottery, jewellry and food booths. Ray's home is exactly what we needed to accommodate all of us, We ate in most nights and appreciated the beautiful backyard barbeque and pool area. The large dining room table provided plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cutlery and glassware. We were also thankful for the assorted spices & condiments in the pantry & fridge. Fountain Hills has plenty of wonderful grocery shops within a 5 mile radius that provided us with substanial savings especially with using their cards which was also provided to us by Ray (near guest book). A must see while in Fountain Hills is to drive the Apache Trail and to also visit Sedona (2hrs away) Jerome and of course the Grand Canyon (4 hrs drive). The neighourhood was quiet, safe and we would highly recommend this property to anyone, Kevin (the property manager) was most helpful and we could count on him if anything should go wrong. The only complaint we had was the weather could have been warmer but we understood it was unusually cooler for that time of year. We love Arizona and hope to return. The Moodies from Canada

We enjoyed our vacation so much August 2010 that we returned in August 2011. Immediate relaxation is how we all felt when we arrived. You can't get a much better property for the price. We were 7 adults and a nice thing about property is that everyone can be together or alone because the house has space to get much needed quiet time as well. Thank-you again Ray for a wonderful vacation, we hope to return again!

Excellent home...The backyard is a resort in itself, we barely left the house because it was so beautiful. Very clean, nice. Kitchen and baths were very well stocked with anything you could need. We had a small problem with the grill and Kevin (who was VERY helpful) arranged for repairs right away. I liked how Kevin came out and showed us around, we have rented numerous homes and no one has done that. Fantastic home, I would recommend to family and friends and will return soon hopefully!

This house was amazing. The pictures do not do this property justice. The backyard is a paradise, private and beautiful. This home has all of the amenities one would need for vacation and more. The owner has thought of everything. Ray is wonderful to deal with, very accommodating. My family and I look forward to returning again and again.

Spent 10 nights at this gorgeous property. It was like being at our own private resort. The backyard pool area, barbecue grill and fireplace are AWESOME. Our two teenage sons spent many hours in the pool every day and spent most evenings enjoying the hot tub. First time they've ever gone that long without Xbox and not a single complaint (that in itself is amazing). The interior of the house was beautifully furnished. We felt at home from the minute Kevin did the walk through to show us all of the homes features. Comfy beds and a tv in every bedroom (a must for a family with teenagers). Very open floor plan with high ceilings and large rooms. Home has everything you need to cook any type of meal inside or out on the backyard barbecue. We loved this property so much we have already booked our spring break trip for 2012.

Our family reunited for the wedding of our niece in Phoenix. Our week stay was lovely in every way! The wedding and reception was held at Rio Verde; the Fountain Hills home on North Escalante Drive was absolutely central and strategic for location and perfectly accommodated our family of ten! We found the website photos extrememly accurate and helpful in presenting this beautiful home away frome home! It came equipped with two porta cribs; the closets to the two king bedrooms so spacious, made the perfect nurseries for our little granddaughters to sleep and nap, yet their stirrings could be heard from the family room and kitchen. The layout was spacious and perfectly met everyone's needs for privacy, relaxation - eased all our comings and goings inside and poolside. The outdoor barbeque area was great for outside dining; we used it on two occasions. The pool and spa was so relaxing especially early morning and during the cooler evenings. Kevin who oversees the property was very available by telephone and helpful re: our orientation to the home and other details for heating the spa, dates for visits for wkly pool maintenance, and brief instructions re: weekly trash collection. The climate control for the home, air conditioning and ceiling fans in everyroom were absolutely critical and specific for total enjoyment of our stay. We were so comfortable throughout the unseasonably high triple digit outside temperatures. Kitchen convenient and well equipped, afforded room for multiple chefs! Open and spacious floor plan, left plenty of room for babies to play and parents and grandparents to lounge. Loved the fact there were ample linens, including oversized towels for the pool. Found the full laundry and half bath extremely practical; got used everyday. This home is very close for grocery and gas needs; a quaint and well stocked stationery/gift store was perfectly suited to small gifts for a surprise birthday party/dinner for my brother. In addition a small jewelry store swiftly came to the rescue and changed the batteries in two family members watches. All loved the historic fountain at various times throughout the day and evenings. This home is a definite repeat for our family retreats in the future, especially since we got the exciting news while staying in Fountain Hills that our oldest son, wife and daughter will begin pastoring a new church in Tempe and moving to Arizona the first weekend in November! Looking forward to our next visit!

There is a reason this property has 31 - 5/5 ratings and I’ve already booked my week for next year. The house is on a nice quiet street, we seldom heard traffic or neighbours. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with many extra’s such as a nice supply of spices so you don’t have to buy your own. The highlight is the backyard which would compare to a private 5+ star resort. Not to mention the close proximity to many 5 star golf courses where we paid between $35-40 including cart to golf 18 holes. Seldom did we see anyone else on the course but you have to brave hot temperature which for us wasn’t a problem. We were a family of 6 and no one wanted to leave, it was the ultimate in relaxation for a vacation.

Spent 3 weeks here in the heat of August and had a great time. Our first time to the Phoenix area and so lots of places to explore. House and pool area suited all our needs, just a shame it was too hot to use the fireplaces! Diving competitions were a regular feature- luckily no injuries! Would certainly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Fountain Hills Area who would like a thoroughly relaxing time. We did travel to Las Vegas for 3 days- 300 mile journey but great drive and fantastic experience! Thanks Ray!

This home was very well maintained and perfect. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this is truly one of the very best. The photos don't do the property justice and neither does the description. The outdoor living space felt like we had our own private resort with numerous places to relax and entertain. The neighborhood was quiet - we really could not have asked for much more. We will definitely be back.

My family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Very cozy home with comfortable beds and linens. The weather was spectacular and we spent most of our time in the pool with our 3 kids and had a blast. My husband was sold on the house as soon as he saw the outdoor grilling area. I'm pretty sure he shed a tear the last time he grilled on it! We loved the open floor plan this home had for our kids, and they were thrilled to each have a TV in their bedroom! I have family in the area and it was nice to entertain them this time! We really enjoyed every amenity this home has to offer and hope to stay here again in the future!

My family had a wonderful time there and just loved the house and all it's amenities. My daughter suggested we all just give up our collective jobs and just pitch in to buy it. Not a bad idea if it was practical. I would love to stay here again as the price is a bargain for a TOP notch residence. The patio was just awesome, where we stayed for most of our visit. Kids loved the pool and the pool table was a nice addition during the day and evening hours. All in all, just a wonderful house that created a beautiful environment for my family and we loved every minute of it. Thank you Ray for sharing, we hope to come back again.

We stayed for a week in this villa while we were playing golf all over the phoenix area, this became a home away from home. One of the most well kept and lovely rental places we have ever stayed in. I travel around the world and stay in many hotels and this villa ranks along the best for the "WOW" factor. We will definately be staying here again.

A group of eight of us just returned from a golf holiday and your place was perfect and more than roomy enough for our group. It is even better in person than the pictures show on the website. The outdoor amenities like the pool table, outdoor kitchen and hot tub are exceptional. The house is central to anything you want to do in the area and was very close to Eagle Mountain, We-Ko-Pa and Sunridge Canyon where we golfed. Thanks Ray and we hope to be back soon.

We have rented homes in AZ before, but this one by far was the BEST. This home is spacious, very well decorated, and extremely comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the linens nice...and even the pillows were great! Not only does the back yard have all the amenities you could ask for, it is also very well maintained and all of the flowers beautiful! The owner and "Kevin" were so easy to work with. We knew if we needed something, or had a problem...someone was just a phone call away! Ray, thank you very much for a wonderful stay and we will be back soon!!

I can spreak for the other 3 golfers in our annual winter trek to AZ. We have stayed in a number of homes. This one is the best. Spacious home with every imaginable ammenity. And if your are playing golf in the Fountain Hills area: We-Ko-Pa, Desert Canyon, etc--you are literally minutes from the clubhouse. It is perfect. We'll be back.

Just an excellent value and provides a large amount of room to allow your guests to mingle and socialize, as opposed to hotel rooms. i will be back in 2011. Dean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous Fountain Hills home. The back yard is like having your own personal resort, it has everything you could possibly need. Everything was perfect - including the weather. The owner was extremely easy to deal with and ensured every detail was covered. When it came time to leave it was rather depressing - guess we will have to come back again! When I read previous reviews, I thought maybe everyone was Ray's relative, since they all referred to him by his first name. However, now I know why - Ray is a very genuine and personable guy. Thanks Ray.

As a VRBO connoisseur, I rate this property top notch! Massive yard and pool, complete with lush vegetation, hummingbirds and tiny bats at sundown. Two kitchens (outdoor and indoor) were delight for the gourmet cook: pantry was stocked with some neat surprises. Beds were super comfy and the linens were quality and abundant. The very private yard created a serene oasis and a opportunity to completely relax ...the outdoor pool table and sound system were a blast! This home is most certainly one to return to again and again.

The pictures are perfect representation, except for size. House is 86' from side to side, enclosed patio is even larger. First thought... hire a caterer...this is a party place for sure! (hmm, guess there is a guest number restriction) Loved cooking in the indoor kitchen and in the outdoor kitchen...lots of room to move around and all the kitchen accessories to cook delightful meals. The new 1/2 bath in the large laundry room was great idea...close to kitchen. Grandsons loved the diving board in the 45' by 20' pool with spa for 16. Furnishings great, indoors and out. Will return. Thanks.

This Fountain Hills property was a perfect fit for me and my seven other golf pals who toured down to Phoenix on the May long weekend. As others have stated in the guest book, the property is superior in fact to what the website shows - a rarity. Very spacious, elegant, well furnished, beautiful yard and pool area, fabulous outdoor bbq area, tables, chairs, loungers - the whole she-bang. Awesome value for discerning traveller. Nestled in a residential area, close to the Fountain Hills and Scottsdale golf courses. Would very highly recommend for families, or pals wanting to get away.

The house was perfect, large rooms, very very clean and updated. It had everything you would need to cook with in the kithchen and the most updated beautiful outdoor kitchen by the pool. And as for the pool and hot tub well you really would need to see it to believe how beautiful it really is, pictures on line don't do it justice. Just bring your cloths, because the house is supplied with everything I would think most people would need on a vacation at least we were not needing anything. And having a washer and dryer right there was so nice to keep up with anything we did need.

This house is just magnificent, in the inside as well as on the outside. Inside: Superbly conceived, luxurious accomodations, appliances and furniture. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Nothing "cheap" for sure! Exterior: Extremely well maintained, with an advanced sense of perfection for details like night lighting, sprinklers, and the world-class BBQ station. The diving pool, by its very large size and its excellent configuration, is second to none. This house is a gem.
