We were looking for a spring break mountain getaway on a budget when I came across this listing. You cannot beat the quality of this cabin for the price. The location is great. Quiet and private, yet close to many sightseeing areas. We saw deer everyday right off the back porch. My 5 year old loved exploring the woods around the cabin. The owners are very nice and answered all of my questions. We will definitely be renting again when we travel back to that area.

This was a great getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, and the location was perfect! Half an hour one way to Helen, half an hour another way to BlueRidge, even closer to Vogel State Park and Brasstown Bald. Would absolutely reccommend!

I rented this cabin for my kids and grandkids over the 4th of July week this year. I was just as pleased as pie with it. The location and view were great as were the accomodations. They wanted for nothing as plenty of everthing was available. We will be renting this as often as possible. The owners are first class and on top of their game. You surely don't want to miss this one. I have a second home close by and may just rent it myself to enjoy the ammenities.

We just spent Memorial weekend here. This is our 3rd time at the cabin. We consider it our home away from home now. Our 2 grandaughters, now 4 & 3, our son & dauter-in-law were with us. They are always asking can we go to our cabin? Great location, we love Vogel State Park & Pappy's which are so close by. The cabin is so cosy & comfortable and what a great price! We just sit on the big porch and feel blessed to be here.
Owner response:Thank you Steve. Would you believe that we purchased the cabin about 8 years ago - totally site unseen! Hadn't even seen a picture of it, but we were familiar with the area having vacationed near Blairsville several times. I figured, how can you go wrong purchasing ANYTHING in that area. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Next time you visit, notice the plaque by the front door. Turn it over and feel free to sign the back. Just something we started doing a few years ago when we visit. Our plan now is to retire in Blarisville in about 8-10 years. Truly God's country up there! Dale

My mom and I went up with our dogs for a weekend in November. Loved the layout of the cabin. This cabin has everything you needo and more. Would have loved to spent more time on the covered porch, but it was a little cold for that. Would like to return during warmer months to enjoy it a bit more. Great owners.....so nice and accomodating. Will be returning to this cabin again!!!!

The cabin was wonderful, so beautiful, sitting on the back porch in the morning in the rocking chair with a book and a cup of coffee was the best way to start each day! The kids love the fact that everything was thought of movies and games just for them. Lake Knottely is a short distance away and wonderful for boating and swimming. Everything was perfect and every detail was thought of, comforts of home on vaction. GREAT place and will be staying again.

We spent a week here, comfortable, clean and stocked with all the conveniences of home. The kids and dog had a great time exploring the woods; the nearby town is quaint with some nice eating places. Lots to explore, with great outdoor activities all within half hours drive away or closer. Will come back again, lovely house, nice location, and well priced. View of the mountain from the back porch obscured by leaves on the tree, but we expected that prior to going..we will try and come back in the fall or winter to enjoy those views!

The cabin was super! The view and fall leaves were beautiful. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools needed to cook our own meals. There were so many unexpected extras that made our stay special. I will definately return next fall - if not sooner!

My wife and I spent the week of 8/10/08 at this cabin and enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was well kept and well supplied with everything we needed. Fortunately we enjoyed a week of pleasant weather which made our stay that much better. The picture in the ad shows the cabin with the leaves off the trees, but with the leaves on the trees it makes the cabin much more private and gives one the feeling of being out in the forest all to yourselves. We purchased a bell shaped bird feeder with all the seeds stuck to it and hung this on the back porch to see if we couldn't attract some birds up to the cabin. It weighed about 2 pounds. We hung it out late one evening only to discover the next morning that the entire feeder had been taken by something. We think it was either a VERY LARGE bird or perhaps it was Big Foot. Which ever it was didn't leave any tracks. The cabin rental is very reasonable so give it a try. We recommend it. Paul & Wilmath
