Bonita Terrace Getaway is a wonderful and relaxing getaway only 1.5 hours from San Francisco. Located above the Russian River in the Monte Rio Terraces, and surrounded by redwoods in a peaceful, private setting, we welcome both well behaved dogs and children. Monte Rio beach is just minutes from the house, and has a large beach area where dogs are welcome. We have sleeping arrangements for 4 people and 2 dogs.
Our property and amenities include: --two bedrooms, both furnished with new queen size beds (second bedroom has a private entrance from outside of house) --a large, fully stocked and renovated kitchen with hardwood floors --all spa quality linens for four people --spa robes for use at the hot rub --a large deck set high in the redwoods with a stainless steel grill and outdoor eating set that seats six people --a newly renovated bathroom with a claw foot tub --brand new Little Tikes picnic table with umbrella for our little guests --wood burning stove, starter and wood provided --large outdoor hot water shower set in a very private area of the property --jacuzzi set among the majestic redwoods --for dogs, we supply (3) stainless steel feeding bowls, elevated water dishes, organic dog treats, and two large fluffy dog beds --for babies we supply 2 highchairs, wipe warmer, bottle warmer, fisher price swing, baby monitor, (great for using while you are in the hot tub), 2 bouncy seats, and a pack and play --for children, we supply sippy cups, plastic cups, bowls, plates, kid friendly utensils and some toys --for grown ups we have WIFI, a DVD player, and a Rio stereo system, and cable TV
Monte Rio is about 5 minutes from Guerneville, and about 15 minutes from Occidental, about 25 minutes from Sebastapol. Both a spa and wonderful bakery are located in nearby Freestone (Osmosis Spa and Wildflower Bakery). In addition, we are only 10 minutes to the ocean and the quaint town of Jenner. Wineries surround the area, including the Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, Healdburg and the Dry Creek Valley. You can enjoy hiking and horse back riding in Armstrong Woods State Park, and golfing under the Redwoods at Northwood Golf Course. |
