Guest Book entry: We had a fabulous time! The cottage and great access to the lake were perfect-relaxing but fun. Swimming, canoing, beach walks and dune rides/hikes filled our stay. Next time, our son is ready for kite boarding! The Farmer's Market was awesome and Denise was amazingly thoughtful! Thanks for a GREAT VACATION!

Comments in Guest Book: What a great adventure. The kids took sailing lessons, we went kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, boogie boarding, walks, campfires, cookouts, Michigan Adventure and of course big beach walks...

From Guest Book-This comment was from one of the young members (11 years old) of a family that stayed in the cottage...The cottage was an amazing vacation spot. I loved that there was a beach out front and a forest out back. Visiting my great-grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins was fun. Other guest book comments from family members: My amazing mother found this cottage on the internet. After weeks of searching we settled on this place and were SO happy with what we ended up with! I grew up and spent my childhood in Muskegon and it was wonderful to bring my children to visit a place I think of as a second home. Reliving everything I've done through my kids eyes is like doing things I've done a 100 times brand new! The lake, beach, forest, campfire, lighthouse, Frosty Cove ice cream, etc. were all old friends seen through new eyes! Thanks for a great place to make our memories!

Guest Book entry: We enjoyed our time here! We, too, found the cottage on line. Who would have thought such a great place could be found on the internet. We loved walking on the beach and out on the pier. We also liked exploring downtown Muskegon...but the best part was drinking coffee and watching the sunset over the Lake. We hope to be able to come here again. Thanks so much for letting us borrow your space.

Entry in Guest Book: I grew up in Muskegon and always dreamed of staying at Pere Marquette Beach. I don't think I could have designed a more perfect cottage for my dreams to come true! My family came over several evenings for cookouts and smores out back. We walked to the beach and played in the water almost every day. We walked to the the pier a few times and fed the ducks at the breakwater. We enjoyed the last few days of "Summer Celebration" and watched two great fireworks presentations from Docker's parking lot (which, by the way, has excellent food). We even got to have Muskegon's best to-go pizza from Scribs! We enjoyed other local entertainment like Party-in-the-Park and Michigan's Adventure. Michigan's Adventure is a great deal at $25/person. A few things we didn't do was tour the Hackley and Hume homes, the museums, or visit the library downtown. After our busy days, it was great to come back and sleep in the comfy beds at this beautiful cottage.

Entry in Guest Book: This cottage was a great place to get away from the hectic schedule of our daily lives. Our 3 year old had a great time playing on the beach, which is so close by the cottage. She had fune exploring the cottage and the back yard. Her highpoint was spotting a fox right outside the window! The cottage has a wonderful, well stocked kitchen with everything you would need to spend a long relaxed vacation. Roasting marshmellows in the firepit and making smores was an awesome experience.
