A spectacular architectural home with the best panoramic views of all of Los Angeles. This tranquil home is surrounded by lush garden life and its hard to believe that all the famous hot spots are just a stone throw away (5 minute walk).
You'll have the luxury of sleeping in without the noisy Sunset Blvd., yet you can walk to the famous "Sunset Strip", which is just two small residential streets away. The Sunset Strip neighborhood is home to famous restaurants such as: Katana, Asia de Cuba, have sidewalk cafes; upscale boutiques for shopping such as Madison, Hugo Boss, Roberto Cavalli, including famous nightlife, The Viper Room, The Sky Bar, Whisky A Gogo and the Roxy.
The centerpiece of the house being a stunning living room with B&B Italia modern couches, including a linked dining room with unbelievable jetliner views. Enjoy the extension of the living room being a wrap around balcony area by having dinner in the evening when the house is filled with sparkling city lights. There is seating in the balcony for 7 people with a round patio table. You can also pull out a couple of chairs for more of your friends. Home is equipped with WiFi and this is also a non-smoking home indoors.
THE POOL OASIS:
Come and relax in the private heated pool equipped with 7 chaise lounges by the pool and hot tub which is surrounded by lush garden life. The hot tub is located steps away under an alcove surrounded wall of ivy, which is perfect throughout the year.
MASTER BEDROOM (1st Floor):
The master Bedroom is accompanied with breathtaking views of all of the city along with its private balcony that has a futon so you may lay back and relax. The master room has 600 thread count linens, & retractable blinds for privacy or afternoon siesta along with 4 closets. Master bathroom has a large walk-in bathroom with his and her sinks, a separate bathtub and separate shower. Equipped with a blow-dryer, iron, and iPod adapter alarm clock.
ZEN BEDROOM (1st Floor):
A queen bed with modern bedding and The Hotel Collection 600 threadcount linens. The rooms are also surrounded by a serene tree setting and have retractable blinds perfect for sleeping in. Has seating area and the foot of the bed along with an extra chair. Two closets with hangers and the "Red" bathroom for this room is located steps away from the bedroom.
WHITE LOTUS BEDROOM (1st Floor):
A queen bed with modern bedding and The Hotel Collection 600 threadcount linens. The rooms are also surrounded by a serene tree setting. The "Grey" bathroom for this room is located steps away from the bedroom. Has a 36" TV with over 800 channels and music. Two large sliding closets with clothes hangers, 1 chair, 2 side tables with lamps.

The very bright and earthy kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel kitchen appliances, a modern breakfast table, a printer and WIFI and DSL services.

Owner Description
We love the West Hollywood area because of the fantastic food and vibrant nightlife. My husband and I live in Northern California now and this vacation home is inviting because it allows family and friends to gather and enjoy the city together and although the city life is exuberant, the home is surrounded by trees and life allowing for serenity when needed (as someone that lived in Los Angeles for 10 years, I know a home like this is hard to find!). We enjoy BBQ by the pool or walking down to the Sunset Strip and having brunch in the morning, sitting by the little cafes on the street and people watching. We like taking a drive down Sunset Blvd., which leads us to the beach and return home for a siesta. There is so much to see and do and this home is located in the central of all of it. It's a very safe, calm, and beautiful neighborhood - yet Sunset Blvd. is just a short walk away.

What a great week my family spend in this home. The location was excellent, house was bigger than the picture reflects, property clean as a pin; pool was cleaned the day after we arrived. Great location to lay around the pool or walk down the hill to Sunset Strip or drive a mile away to Rodeo Drive or Beverly Hills. Owner was just a phone call away if you had any problems and also left a list of places to eat, shop, taxi, etc. Recommend to anyone of any age.

What a splendid home! We just returned from our stay in this home while out in West Hollywood. We had such a wonderful experience staying here. First of all, it is absolutely beautiful. The skyline views and beautiful setting within the neighborhood are first class. The view off of the balcony/patio is absolutely stunning. The home is also very spacious, we needed 5 bedrooms and everyone was comfortable throughout our stay. The location is perfect. First of all you can literally walk to many nightlife hotspots and wonderful restaurants on the Sunset Strip…And boy are there a lot to choose from! But also, it’s within reasonable driving distances to most locations. You can get to Hollywood Blvd and Rodeo Drive in approx 5 minutes. It took us only a half hour or so to get to the Staples Center and Dodger Stadium. About 15 minutes to get to Ventura Blvd, and about 20-30 mins to get to Santa Monica Beach. (Considering no roadwork or accidents, etc.). We really enjoyed our time in the jacuzzi and the secluded heated pool. We really felt so comfortable here and it was a great place to come home to every night. And finally, I can’t express how easy it was to work with the homeowner. Claudia offered some great recommendations for eating and going out in the area. She was very attentive to our every detail regarding the stay. We needed help on Thurs with something in regards to the pool and she had the pool guy fix it within hours while we were gone that day. We cannot wait to come back out to LA, and when we do we can’t wait to rent this home again if it is available! Thank you Claudia for opening your home to us!

After doing an intensive online search, we found Claudia's property. She was prompt in responding to my emails and phone calls. She was especially helpful once we arrived in LA late at night and couldn't find the house! The house is located just a short walk down the hill from Sunset Blvd where we used to grab our morning lattes. It's only a short stroll to some fantastic restaurants. We were two families with young children sharing the house and it was definitely big enough for all of us. We had rented two cars and there was ample parking. The property was very clean and we loved some of the retro feel that it had. The pool (once it warmed up!) and the hot tub were a fantastic addition. We definitely plan on returning and would recommend this property to all!

In September of this year we stayed at the house for seven days with other family members from around the country while attending my son's wedding. The house was perfect for our group, lots of space, everything a person needed for comfort. The views were spectacular and the location was amazing. The house itself was open, extremely clean, comfortable and had everything and more that we needed. We loved, loved, loved the pool and hot tub and the bedding was a little bit of heaven. We all slept like babies. We plan to stay again on our next visit from Minnesota. This worked out so much better than renting a hotel and made our vacation/wedding perfect. We all highly recommend this home. Thank you Claudia!

We recently stayed at the Sunset Hills Home and found it absolutely adorable. The place was very clean and exactly as portrayed in the listing. The house is in a great location which allows guests to very easily walk to the Sunset Strip and enjoy restaurants, shopping, and night life. We were conveniently located to access: Disneyland, Universal Studios, the LA Zoo, Hollywood Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, and many other tourist attractions. The home itself was quite spacious with room for our party of 10 to spread out. If you are traveling with older people I would recommend having them stay on the first floor of the home. The lower level requires the use of steps for access; not a problem at all, but something for you to plan for. The best part about the rental was working with the owner Claudia. She was fabulous and easy to work with. She is very knowledgeable of the area and was even able to recommend a great spa nearby for my mom and aunt to enjoy. She makes the check-in and check-out process very easy and was very prompt at returning the security deposit (I believe it was returned the day after check-out). I will definitely stay at this home again the next time I am in the area. If you like nice things and enjoy an easy process, this is the rental for you. The home was well worth the rental fee that is being requested. Thanks again for everything Claudia! We had a wonderful time.

My immediate family and grown siblings spent 10 days in California together this spring, including three days in Hollywood. Instead of cramming into four separate hotel rooms, we decided to rent a house so that we could actually enjoy each others' company. We had a great experience at this house. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing at the end of the day, and the patio with its view of the city was a fun place for family meals. The location is ideal: just a few steps from Sunset, but high enough up the hill to give the sense that one is above the fray. The owners are very organized, efficient and helpful - their local knowledge is a great resource for out of town guests!

Fantastic House in an excellent location close to all activities. Beautiful view. Very clean and neat. We were able to walk to restaurants and clubs. Quick drive to all of the famous tourist attractions. Claudia the owner was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The large living room/dining room made for a great place for us to gather and hang out. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We ( four couples) stayed Dec 29, 2009 -Jan 2, 2010 and had a wonderful time. The home is spectacular with spectacular views from the balconies. Nicely decorated and lots of space. The living room was our focal point and in the evenings we used the fireplace. Lots of mirrors and marble. The location was ideal as we could walk to restaurants on Sunset Strip. An added bonus was CC ( Claudia the Concierge) . She was so helpful before we arrived and during our visit. Lots of info in the home on things to do/places to see. Stay there, you won't be disappointed. The "Crazy 8s from Canada"
