The name Mitiwanga is Erie Indian for "Wide Sandy Beach," and that's what we have. And all 900 feet of it is just out our lakeside door.
Our home was rebuilt in 2006 and has 3200 square feet of living space with four bedrooms on the second floor plus a finished bonus room over the garage. Three bedrooms have queen beds which all have lake view, and the fourth has a set of twins plus a crib. The bonus room can accommodate sleeping for up to four additional people (queen blow-up mattress on site). There are three full bathrooms (one on ground floor, two upstairs). We have a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, gas barbecue grill and TV/VCR. Bed Linens, blankets and pillows provided. We ask that you bring your own bath towels and beach towels.
You can watch the sun come up in the east and set over Lake Erie to the west, all from the bay windows of our family room. We have tennis and basketball courts for your use and public boating facilities with jet ski rentals are available just down the street at Cranberry Creek Marina.
Just minutes away is Vermilion, a historic harbor town with lots of friendly small shops and restaurants along its quaint streets. You are also within 20 minutes of Cedar Point/Kalahari and 30 minutes from Port Clinton, Marblehead and Catawba.
