We stayed here for 4 nights and were amazed at how wonderful the place was! We had a family reunion with people staying and people just coming for the day and we had more room than we needed. If you have a large group this is the place for you!! Once inside you feel like you are a million miles away from anyone. Super quite beautiful grounds and everything you need for a wonderful time . The owner goes up and beyond to make sure your stay is the best!! Thanks Wendy !!

We recently held a family reunion at this house - had family members from all over the country converge here for 3 days. It was amazing. We had 15 people and all fit comfortably with room to spare. The grounds are beautiful, pictures can't do it justice. The owner, Wendy, was exceptional. She was readily available whenever we needed anything and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. She's amazing and so is the house. I would highly recommend staying here for any occasion.

The house is fantastic, on a huge property in a secluded and very affluent neighborhood. Lots of fun colors throughout the house encourage users to unwind and get into vacation mode. The kitchen opens up into the family room, which has a spacious area featuring a pool table and large sectional couch should you want to watch the television. The bar is nicely tucked into the family room and opens up to the outside pool deck with a sliding window, which is convenient should you have a bar stocked for your stay. The pool deck is huge and also has a nice sliding window that opens from the kitchen, which was very convenient. The pool deck has great lighting for nighttime entertainment and there's even a go-go dancer cage should the party get wild. Beyond the pool is a double-grill setup that got plenty of use, and a nice green lawn with lawn dice and lots of lounge chairs. This house really has everything for the ultimate party setting. We spent so much time in the pool, which has a great lounging bench built into it so that you can enjoy the pool without doing anything more than just sitting and relaxing. The hot tub was the star of the party, and that is the only thing about which I would caution. Renters pay for the propane usage to heat the hot tub and pool, and over the course of the 3 days and 3 nights we went through $340 worth of propane. Just be sure to monitor it closely and shut it off at night or if you leave the house for the day. As for the sleeping arrangements, there's so much space in this house and so many beds that we felt like we should have invited more people to stay with our party of 11. The master suite and the poolside suite are the biggest and best, but the other rooms in the front of the house are excellent as well. Honestly though, sleep is what we did the least of with all the activities to keep you occupied at the house. We played McDowell Mountain golf course, which is just a couple miles away and was a fantastic course should you have any golfers staying with you. Other great attractions within decent driving distance are the Scottsdale Gun Club and Lo-Lo's Chicken and Waffles. Final word of caution, if you're planning on spending a lot of time outside of the house in Old Town Scottsdale, I would strongly urge you to rent a car for your stay. We took cabs everywhere and they can take quite a while, but we found that BigOrangeBus.com was excellent for transporting our large group around the Scottsdale/Fountain Hills area.

We rented this home for a family vacation. It was beautiful, incredibly spaceous and had everything needed for a wonderful get-away! We had 12 people staying in the house and there was more than enough room for everyone! The back yard is very large with total privacy. We had no idea there were even neighbors around. The owner was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. We would definitley recommend this house and would stay here again if we are back in the area.

Had a group of 11 guys go down for a little 4 day vacation for golf, some hiking, NBA game, etc. Property was outstanding. Lots of privacy, great backyard, and more than enough room for everyone to sleep very comfortably. House was fully stocked with everything you could need, and owner was more than helpful. Really enjoyed BBQ'ing in the backyard and lounging by the pool or in the hot tub! Thanks for making our stay in Scottsdale one to remember!!

Perfect all around!! We had four generations from MA heading out for our sons graduation from law school and couldn't have picked a better property... The house was plenty big enough for everyone...Lots of room for entertaining.. The owner was there when we arrived to show us around (a big plus).. The rooms are massive...the pool area was perfect for hanging out.... The Casita is a nice bonus...The pictures shown really don't do it justice... The house is in a wonderfully secluded area but close to downtown and shopping. We will certainly stay here again... Thanks Wendy...for a most wonderful stay!! Oh yeah...and our deposit was returned within 4 days... I am still waiting for a deposit for a rental with different party in FL from March... Wendy knows how to treat her renters...thank you!
Owner response:This home has become a destination for many families and their friends! Being able to share this beautiful house with people from all over the world has been a gift to all of us! It is truly a FABULOUS HOME and the location and privacy make it even more desirable. Golfing, shopping, dining, hiking, or just staying by the pool are all the toughest choices you will have to make during your stay here. : ) Thank you! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN SOON! Best regards, Wendy.

I've rented houses around the country and its rare that you have a beautiful and fun house with so many bedrooms that comfortably house adults. The house is in a quiet neighborhood yet it's only a few minutes from Loop 101 so you can quickly get to other places in the metro area. The homeowner provided wonderful communication and was easy to rent from. The house is in fantastic condition and well-appointed.

We have vacationed in Scottsdale for over 10 years with 3 other couples, but this was our first private home rental. There was some trepidation about the "unknown," but I am happy to say we could not have had a more enjoyable experience. The house and amenities were exactly as advertised and pictured, maybe better. The four bedrooms we used all had king or queen beds and private baths, and were so spread out that you heard nothing from other parts of the house. Yet the ability to literally take a few steps from your bedroom and be in the pool was great. The living room, kitchen and patio all provided plenty of space for all 8 of us to gather at the same time. The house was so big that we never even used several of the rooms. And the little things that were there that you sometimes don't think about - like pool towels, pool floats, condiments in the refrigerator, a grill where we cooked almost all of our meals - were very convenient and saved us a lot of money and effort. Wendy, the owner, was very responsive before, during and after our stay. Maybe our biggest concern in renting a private home was how to get questions answered or problems fixed while we were there, plus getting our security deposit back. None of those ended up being issues at all. Before booking the house, she patiently answered all the detailed questions we had. While we were there, she was on site almost immediately (even at night) to correct a couple (very) minor problems. After our stay, our full deposit was returned within a week of our departure. Wendy was the perfect hostess, intent on making sure we enjoyed our stay and could not have been more pleasant, accomodating and professional to deal with. This was a great house for us, perfect for a large group to get together. We would definitely go back.
Owner response:It is always a pleasure to share our beautiful home with our guests. We want only the best for our vacationers and love meeting new families and people from all over the world. It is rewarding and fullfilling to be such a big part of helping to make someone else's fond memories. You can expect the best of the best while staying with us, because we care about our reputation and our home. It is so nice to have met so many kind and loving people and have made so many new friends along the way too! We look forward to seeing you all, again! Thank you for your appreciation and for taking such good care of our lovely home! Best regards, Wendy. : ) .

We were wowed by this property as soon as we set foot in the front door!!! It is spacious, clean and very well equipped. Our family of four and my mother and father in law (they were in the casita) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves whether indoors playing pool, or outdoors in the pool! My son loved the lizard hunting and having fruit bearing trees (lemon and grapefruit) was a huge plus. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to get away for a holiday in unsurpassed luxury......great for families, golfers, shoppers.....you name it!

We celebrated a family birthday party over a long weekend and the house was perfect. It was spotless and well maintained with very nice bed linens, plenty of towels and a well equipped kitchen. Wendy was easily accessible to meet our every need-she even brought us a coffee grinder when requested! There were 12 of us; 5 families. The layout of the house gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. The backyard was large enough for frisbee. The pool (with diving board) and hot tub were great! We paid the extra to have them both heated - well worth it in April. The house is easy to get to off the 101 freeway, with easy shopping and restaurants nearby. Wendy handled all aspects of booking the rental, answering questions, and $ deposits in a timely and professional manner. This house is not cheap, but worth every penny!

We stayed here (2 families) during easter break from England. The pictures don't do it justice. It really is stunning with a beautiful garden with Chipmunks! The pool is gorgeous with spring diving board. Kitchen stunning. Great Pool table. Lovely location. Wendy was very proactive and helpful. She was definitely the most helpful by miles out of all the places we looked at. She also refunded our deposit in full very quickly and was generally a joy to work with. Both families loved it and I couldn't recommend it enough.

It was a much anticiapated, and long time coming, family reunion that dictated the need for a very special home. Bringing together eight people from four states to spend a week together during the Thanksgiving holiday demanded a spacious, private oasis - and this was found at Wendy's home. The layout of the property is perfect with the private spaces close to - but not intruding on - the public spaces. And "space" is the operative word. This huge home made it extremely comfortable for all of us to spread out and enjoy each others company. The kitchen was large enough for all of us to participate in preparing the family meals without stepping all over each other. Likewise the living room / game area was just as accommadating and inviting. My favorite place was the large, covered back patio. Looking over the pool, and the absolutely gorgeous and well kept lawn, this area was soothing and peaceful. Very, very quiet and private. If your looking for a comfortable, large, private home for your family gatherings - THIS is the home!

A group of 7 guys rented this accomodation for one week for a golf trip. The accomodations were fantastic. The location is absolutely excellent when it comes to being central to the top golf courses in the area. Could not get much better.

Whether you want to "chill" in the sun by the diving pool or large back yard, share a beer while shooting some pool in the living room, soothe your aching bones in the master jacuzzi after hiking in the mountains, play golf on some of the world's best courses (most within a short drive), shop at Scottsdale's (and America's) finest establishments or eat at one of the dozens of restaurants nearby, Wendy's home is where you need to stay. A hospitable host with a passion for making you welcome (and a slight obsession with flowers judging by the decor) Wendy will go out of her way to make sure you have a comfortable stay, at a rate you can afford to pay. Make sure you get the key for the jacuzzi by the pool, it is not under the frog (cos there isn't a frog) and whatever you do, do not lose the password for the wifi, she doesn't like that! Home is perfect for groups large or small, enough bathrooms and showers for a group of guys on a golf trip (as we were), good for older kids, a family reunion or an escape for couples. Location is almost perfect, shops and restaurants are all around, TPC is 5 mins drive and the 101 is close by. Drive 5 mins north and you are in the desert. 20 mins to The Boulders and the old towns of Cave Creek and Carefree. Highly recommended!

We spent a week in this very large, nice home. It is great for kids with several bedrooms in a ranch/rambler layout. The casita was great for additional guests that came to visit. There is a big yard, and a great pool. The home is in an upscale neighborhood full of large houses. It is close to many of the great Scottsdale golf courses and restaurants. We will definitely try to stay here again. Two notes: if you need five bedrooms make sure to ask Wendy to put a bed in the fifth room(currrently workout room), and make sure to request that the pool be heated.

Just spent a fabulous week at this beautiful home. From the birds nesting in the front door flower display to the cushion-covered sofa-bed on the porch out back this is a wonderful place. Quiet, relaxing with room to just spread out and chill. We particuarly liked the speakers throughout the house so that we could listen to the XM radio wherever we were. The wifi so we could keep in touch and the pool - which the kids rarely left. In the heart of Scottsdale too we managed to find a different restaurant for lunch every day within 10 minutes, and got up to Sedona too. We didn't even get a change to visit Rawhide or any of the other riding stables nearby. There is pretty much something for everyone close at hand. Many thanks to Wendy for making us so welcome. Hope to be back!
