The house is situated on a large private lot on a dead end street in the Crafts Field section of Katama, one half mile from South Beach and 2 miles from Edgartown.
It is beautifully decorated featuring island artists, well landscaped and maintained.
The upstairs bedroom is oversized and overlooks the multiple bird feeders and flower beds. There is a fanover the bed as well as a skylight for star gazing. The down stairs bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom and has two twin beds. The living room features a cathedral ceiling with fan.
There is a private outside shower. A deck wraps three sides of the house with chairs and tables for dining/entertaining/relaxing. It is fully equipped inside and out.

About the owner: I have enjoyed the Vineyard all my life, on season, off season, it doesn't matter. I love to ride my bike, one of the favorite destinations other than the beach is the Farm Institute. Sunsets at South Beach are incredible and I make sure that if I am on MV, I go to the beach for sunset.
Why the Owner Chose Katama:
When I got out of the car to look at this house as a potential buyer, I could hear the waves crashing on the beach and there was a ring necked pheasant in the yard across the street, but no neighbors visible. The double ended bird house in the front yard was the kicker. I hadn't even seen the inside yet and I knew it was the one.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Location and solitude! As you sit on the deck, woods are to the left and 2 houses across the street have their decks on the flip side. The goldfinch are regular visitors to the many bird feeders. The house has everything you need for 4 people.
