With an open floor plan surrounded by a large wrap-around patio with comfortable seating for 12, this secure one-level home is ideal for entertaining or simply relaxing, enjoying the flowers, birds and butterflies in our tranquil La Cristina location 3 kms west of central Ajijic. Indoors or out; the climate is close to perfect.
From the stone floor entrance through the hallway to the dining area and the high ceilinged living room, you will be pleased with the easy flow of the house.
The living room, with TV/DVD with DVD library and music center with extensive CD library, accommodates ten.
The dining room accommodates the same number and the kitchen is truly a cook's delight. Large and bright with natural daylight from well positioned skylights, it features a breakfast bar, movable island, satellite TV with VCR and an under-the-counter CD player. It has a gas range and oven, large (23.7 cubic ft. refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and disposal, large floor-to-ceiling pantry and is well equipped.
Furnishings are eclectic with pieces from the Philippines, colonial Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, India and the United States. Paintings and other artwork are largely from Peru, Guatemala and the USA. Rugs and tapestries are mainly of Indian, Egyptian and Persian origin.
The split bedroom arrangement (both with king beds) offers privacy and comfort.
The light and bright master bedroom has satellite TV/DVD/VCR, a computer, desk and chair, a large private bath (marble) and extra-large walk-in closet with many built-ins. The bedroom has a larage door opening onto the terrace.
The second bedroom has built-in floor-to-ceiling closets along one entire wall, satellite TV, DVD/VCR, and an extra queen size sofa-bed. The second full bathroom is in the hall only three steps away.
Adjacent to the second bathroom is an office with built-in desks, chairs, lots of counter and storage space plus bookshelves. Computer access, fax, scanner, copier and printer are available.
The laundry room, off the master bathroom, has washer, dryer, iron and board and plenty of hanging space for clothes.
