WE were 4 ladies celebrating a big birthday and it was the perfect place. We all know and love San Francisco and were at home at this wonderful location. The property was spotless, the owner very helpful and considerate. We had a car and knew our way around but even if you dont the location is convenient to lots of good public transport. Highly recommend

We recently stayed a week in this beautiful Pacific Heights flat. The listing description and pictures are very accurate, and we are happy to report that actually staying there turned out to be an even better experience than expected. It was very clean, well maintained, quiet and very comfortable. The neighborhood is VERY safe and from the flat we walked almost everywhere: to the Presidio, the Wharf; Union Street, and even down to the Fisherman's Wharf area. Filmore Street is nearby to the flat and has a terrific neighborhood atmosphere (not touristy at all!) with great restaurants, pubs and shopping. We did use public transport a couple of times, and it was easy and convenient. Great flat, fantastic value.

This home was as illustrated on the web site. Very clean and spacious with room for 3 adult couples. Very well situated for local restaurants grocery stores & shops. Very safe and clean part of town, 10 minutes from downtown by car. The other bonus was the owners of the property were very friendly easy to deal with and helpful with several suggestions for places to eat ,shop and park the car. The owners are right there if there were to be any problems. It would be our first choice upon a return visit.

The flat was lovely, clean & spacious as described on the VRBO site.With 3 couples, there was enough room for everyone to have a bit of privacy,if wanted. The home was comfortable & quiet and the neighbourhood clean & safe. It was a great location within easy driving distance to the sites. Our hosts were very helpful with info regarding grocery stores & restaurants and a pleasure to deal with. We all had a wondeful visit to San Francisco & would book this flat again and recommend it to all travellers.

Beautiful, clean, spacious "home" for our family

This home was beautiful, clean and very spacious. It was exactly as pictured on VRBO. All 3 bedrooms were perfect size and decorated beautifully. The kitchen had an "open" concept with plenty of room, plus there is a large dining room. The front room with a TV was very nice (although we didn't spend a lot of time watching TV! Too much fun stuff to do!) It was great to have two bathrooms. The owners were extremely friendly and a joy to speak with. We enjoyed our conversations with them! We have family who live close by and everything was in walking distance. The location is perfect. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed longer! We look forward to coming back to San Francisco and staying in this beautiful home again!

Just want to let everyone know that this is the way to experience living like the locals. It was such an enjoyable time to live in a home away from home like this. The location is extremely convenient, even down to the parking availability. The home is very comfortable and peaceful. The neighborhood clean and safe. The owner was very helpful and easily reached at anytime. When we were out and about the city by car we were always happy to return "home" to rest and even enjoy meals as a family around the dinning table. Trader Joe's up the street, restaurants galore with any type of food you could imagine, many within comfortable walking distance. A very family friendly home to stay. We had 3 generations on this trip. We hope to return again, but it may have to be one of the owner's smaller places as we usually travel in a smaller number. I would trust this owner any time. Thank you for a wonderful family memory.

I have stayed in this flat a couple of times now. It is convenient, well-equipped and very clean. Photos are not misleading in any way. Ideal size for a couple and child or two couples. Good value, too. Owners are on the spot and most obliging. They even looked after a lemon tree for me between visits. Delfina Pizza within easy walking distance. Recommended.

lovely clean and spacious place for our 4 days in San Francisco. Beds and linens were very comfortable. much better experience than staying in a downtown hotel... and much less expensive. Location was very good, near public transport, and less than 10 minutes walk to Trader Joe's... best wine, cheese cereal etc at wonderful prices. Lovely Breakfast spot 5 minutes away called Ella's. The owner was very helpful and directed us to places we might want to eat at at my request. If you are from out of town get a MUNI passport .. unlimited bus and cablecar use for great price. A perfect stay for us with nice safe neighbourhood to come home to at night

We travelled with 3 children from Sydney to SF, and what a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was as described and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and it's location provided a lovely quiet environment. Coming back to our 'home' in SF was always a comforting experience at the end of a long day of sightseeing.The owners went out of their way to help make our time in SF go smoothly. and were truly a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again, and I can highly recommend to any traveller!

Our family rented this flat from 12/25/08 through 1/2/09. It was just as described. The property was inviting and spotless; the beds were very comfortable and linens were luxurious; the kitchen was well equipped; the dining room and living room were attractive and big enough for us and friends that stopped by; and the friendly and helpful owner gave us several suggestions on nearby restaurants that were great (Ella's on Presidio for breakfast, Pomodoro on California for very reasonable Italian). Public transportation to everything was very convenient, and we had no trouble finding parking for the few nights that we had a rental car. We visited and enjoyed: Downtown, MOMA, the Buena Vista, Hotei near Irving and 9th for Sushi, the Palace of Legion of Honor, the Zoo, the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park, Sausalito's No-Name Bar, and Rasselas Ethiopian Restaurant and Jazz Club on Filmore, and the Empress of China on Grant. My husband and I, two grown sons and one son's girlfriend all had a great time. I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting San Francisco. All 6 of us enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday in SF, and in your flat! We even got 17 people into the dining room for turkey dinner! Another thank-you-very-very much testimonial in this footprint diary! Are we like the longest staying tenants??? Really don't bear to leave this warm and cozy home already. We really loved the tastefully decorated design and colors in every corner of the house. Not to mention, cleanliness was a 10/10 full marks! When we saw your apartment on VRBO, we thought it looked lovely. When we saw it on the day we arrived, we were thrilled by how wonderful it was. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us, and the decor and comfort of it made our stay very enjoyable indeed. The location was also perfect - we used the car every day for sightseeing, but the trips were short as you are so well placed.
