Cedarwood offers nearly 2000 square feet of living space for your enjoyment. It is located in a nice residential area 2 blocks from the Northern Door YMCA and walking distance to the Door Community Auditorium, Penninsula State Park and downtown Fish Creek's fine restaurants, galleries, shops and public beach. A very convenient location, close enough to activities, yet private and relaxing. Cedarwood has a very large yard with towering evergreens towards the rear of the lot. A walking path is maintained through the trees so you can walk to the BP gas station in case you forget something essential.
Cedarwood is a snowmobiler's delight as we are located right on the snowmobile trail. Ride through the woods in the backyard to gas up your sleds and enter Penninsula State Park across from the station. After cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding or snowmobiling warm up in front of the fireplace in our spacious great room. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Location, location, location... Cedarwood is in a quiet residential area, yet the Door Community Auditorium, the Northern Door YMCA and Top of the Hill shops are a 5 minute walk away. Downtown Fish Creek with it's numerous restaurants, shops, fine galleries, public beach and Peninsula State Park are a 15 minute walk away. One can come back home to Cedarwood to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Cedarwood is great space for families to reconnect while on vacation. There is plenty of room to relax and unwind with enough space allowing for privacy. We carefully thought out what type of ammenities would make your stay pleasant and went to work providing them. Cedarwood has 2 seperate TV viewing areas allowing children to watch a movie while their parent's enjoy watching a game, DVD or favorite show. The yard is very spacious and has a bonfire pit which is perfect for making smores. We have plenty of dishes for family dining & a new dishwasher to make clean up a breeze. Laundry facilities are available too, along with 2 grills for cooking out while the family plays croquet. We provide plenty of information on Door Co., brochures, menus, books, magazines and maps to assist in planning your daily activities.
Daily & weekly passes are available which allow you to take classes, swim and exercise. WI FI is available at the YMCA.
Home of the Penninsula Music Festival in August and American Folklore Theatre's Fall Performance Series. Performaces by National and Regional Recording Artists. Check out their website for venues.

After seeing their success I knew this was always a dream of mine. In September of 2007 our opportunity arose and we wasted no time getting busy! HGTV is one of our favorite networks and we had 10 months to put our knowledge and information to work. A week ago, I was with a group of 8 ladies and we stayed at your beautiful home for the weekend. We had a wonderful time there! We had plenty of space to eat together, play cards/dice and just enjoy each other's company in the Great Room. We enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace with our coffee in the morning. You have done a super job with the home! It was so nice meeting you and learning about some of your adventures. Thank you for your hospitality! We wish you well and would definitely recommend your home to relatives and friends.

Carla & Jay, Well for myself (Christine), this is my second time coming to your wonderful home. I am w/ the S clan. This year is so much fun thus far because my fiance Zach and I get to enjoy our time with our new daughter who is 7.5 months old, as well as enjoying time with his family. We came at the perfect time, so many festivals going on. So nice because they're close to your beautiful home. Carla & Jay, Thank you for making our stay so easy to plan. The VRBO site was a great way to book our stay. We're also greateful that you were able to accommodate us for an additional nite, made things a lot easier for planning & travel. Your home is a great design & we could all envision owning such a place! It is well taken care of & we would stay again if we had an additional family member or couple as this home would accommodate a larger crowd as well. The location is superb & in the best possible vicinity to both the north & south end of the penninsula. Wish we could always stay longer, especiallly in such a lovely home.

Carla & Jay, What a great time we had biking, hiking & geocaching these last 9 days. We have a new favorite restaurant - Wild Tomato - best pizza around. We took in another AFT play - Guys & Does. Have to see one of their musicals everytime we're here. Checked out Hands On Art Studio one rainy day. A must on everyone's to do list when coming to Door Co. esp. families w/ kids. And of course, going to the Packer game was fantastic. Cedarwood's a great place and being in Fish Creek makes it convenient to do so much. We even met another couple who was from Morton - small world. Thanks for everything.
