2000 square foot post and beam construction house set in an idyllic oasis of tranquility, backing on to 40 acres of temperate rain forest bird sanctuary with the peaceful Tofino Inlet only 250 meters away.
Our Raincoast Retreat home features all the luxurious amenities to ensure both a comfortable and relaxing escape.
INSIDE:
- 3 large bedrooms with pillowtop mattresses in the king and queen bedrooms, down duvets and high thread count cotton sheets.
- Bedrooms sleep 6 ( one king, one queen and two twins), with additional sleeping on pull out sofa, foam mats can be provided for children

- Upstairs bathroom features soaker tub and glassed in shower overlooking the rain forest canopy creating a spa-like ambiance.
- Huge gourmet kitchen, complete with gas stove, wall oven, large island with eating bar, slate back splash and large windows overlooking both the deck and rain forest

Clayoquot Raincoast Retreat is nestled in the Canadian temperate rain forest of Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, only a five minute stroll from McKenzie Beach and ten minute walk to North Chesterman Beach.
The house is located next to the Tofino Botanical Gardens at the end of a quiet no-through rural road and backs onto the Shorebird Sanctuary. A quick hike through the West Coast rain forest gets you to the quiet waters of Tofino Inlet.
The nearby grocery store, DVD and bike rental shops, surf shop (with rentals), surf school, cafe ,dive shop and ice cream/chocolate shop are all within a five minute walk from the house! The town of Tofino is an easy 2 km walk or bike ride down the paved pedestrian trail.
The town of Tofino is located minutes away from the world famous Long Beach, part of the Pacific Rim National Park. Long Beach boasts miles upon miles of packed sand beach, a beachcombers delight!
Aside from Long Beach, Tofino also has many other great beaches such as Chesterman, Cox, McKenzie and Schooner Cove.
Tofino is an outdoor enthusiasts’ dream with surfing, kayaking, hiking, beachcombing, whale watching and hot spring excursions on your front door step. In the winter storm watching takes over as a dominant tourist activity as winter storms put on a spectacular show between November and March
