  This apartment exceeded our expectations. It is located in a quiet, leafy street and is exactly as portrayed in the photos. It is spotlessly clean and well presented, and nothing has been overlooked in providing all the necessities for a great stay. It's proximity to the BART station is a real plus, and there is a variety of good restaurants nearby. The owner, David, was extremely helpful in providing all kinds of information, and he was always on hand when we needed anything. We were particularly grateful for his kindness prior to our early morning departure for the airport. Many thanks David! We would definitely recommend this apartment to any of our friends visiting San Francisco.

  Our family enjoyed our stay in this great apartment. It has everything, PARKING, wifi, full kitchen, washer & dryer. It was perfect. You can hear the noises from upstairs but that was not a problem at all. The neighborhood was nice. It has grocery stores nearby and some restaurants we could walk to. The property was very clean and well maintained and the owner was always available and helpful. Overall a very nice experience.

  We spent a week here with five adults and a 2-year old and it was very comfortable. It was well-situated a short walk from the Glen Park Village with a great grocery store and numerous shops and restaurants and only about a block from the Glen Canyon park and hiking trail. It was also close to the Glen Park BART stop though we had a car and only took the BART a couple times. It was a simple 15-minute drive to be downtown or just about anywhere else including Golden Gate Park and the airport. Parking was easy in the dedicated on street spot and the apartment was furnished with just about everything we needed. The owner lives upstairs and was extremely helpful and accomodating. We'll definitely stay here on our next visit.

  This is a great apartment for a visit to San Francisco. When you're travelling half way round the globe and don't know the city you're visiting there's always some qualms that the accommodation you've selected is not as presented on its webpage. Thankfully this apartment is exactly as presented in the photos, well presented and clean. It is equipped with new appliances, including the washer/dryer which is a real plus when travelling. The bathroom is very clean. The bedrooms are a good size and the bedding is good quality. Some other reviews mention the noise from the upstairs apartment but we found it to be negligible. You'd have to be highly sensitive for it to disturb you. The apartment is in a quiet residential area with good parking. Glen Canyon park is at the end of the street and provides a convenient outlet for exercise. From a transport perspective it is an easy 5 min walk ( no hills) to the Glen Park BART station which is a great way to get around ( SFO 20 mins away and Union Sq 10 mins). Glen Park has a good selection of restaurants/take aways which cater for all tastes ( particularly important when travelling with picky teenagers as we were). There are a number of good cafes which serve great coffee. Best of all is the Canyon Market/Grocer which is located between the apartment and the BART station. The quality, variety and selection of food ( incl fruit/vegetables and pre-pared meals) was awesome. As other reviews have noted David is a friendly and helpful host but not intrusive. He was always willing to provide assistance when requested. He also proved to be very honest and reliable. When we vacated the apartment my wife ( mistakenly) left valuable jewellery behind. When we phoned David later that evening he was able to retrieve the jewellery and keep it safe until we were able to collect it a few days later. We were very thankful ! We'd recommend this property.

  This place is great for touring and visiting San Fran. You're in a great community with access to restaurants and cafes but also just minutes from downtown. Also, Dave the owner is very helpful but gives you space as well. We even left my wife's bathing suit in the dryer and he overnighted it to us. I would definitly reccomend this place and stay there again.

  Awesome, Clean, Friendly. This apartment is accessible to everything from the Bart to great cafes. The canyon is walking distance and a great way to start your day with a run or a stroll. I would definitely come back, great value, location and above all GREAT host! (Owner promptly returned our deposit on the day of departure)

  For us, this place was just perfect. Clean, spacious in a quiet and safe neighborhood and with all the services within a walking distance (BART, restaurants, groceries, liquor store, bakery, park, cafés, etc). Parking in the street is very convenient, easy and safe. We were 4 adults with our 9 months old baby and were very confortable in this place. David is very accomodating and made our stay just better! For example, he lend us a baby park'n play and a highchair and gave us the oportunity to let our trolley in his garage. We really enjoyed our stay at this place and recommend it to everyone. Thank you David, we will keep very good memories of our stay.

  I agree with the other reviewers--this IS a great place to stay when visiting the Bay Area. The BART stop and busses and the expressway make it an easy distance to almost anywhere. Parking was not a problem and with the nearby BART, we just left the car near the apartment instead of driving downtown. The park is practically next door and popular with people with small children or dogs. We especially liked the convenience of Canyon Market and Buddies Grocery Store (Buddies is not that fancy--we just liked the name. But Canyon Market has great coffee, bread and organic produce.) David is the ideal host--helpful and accomodating but not intrustive. And very patient with people who arrive late and can't seem to open the lock. Yes, the kids do make noise in the early morning hours but he has a nice family and he reciprocates by being tolerant of people with teenagers. The apartment was clean and comfortable and worked well for the 5 of us. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again.

  This apartment was great. Very well maintained and in a great location. Convenient to the Bart and with easy parking if you have a car. Dave seems like a super nice guy who will help if you need it, but leaves you on your own if you prefer.

  The good: Glenn Park is a really nice little community, nice local places to eat, the BART is pretty close (6-7 blocks), downtown San Fran. is a very short ride away. The apartment is very nice and comfortable (exactly as pictured) and in a nice quiet neighborhood. . The iffy: The walls and ceiling in the apartment are very thin. David has young children and until they are just a little older you will be woken up at 6:30 to 7:00 am.....every morning. David and the kids are really nice, but if you want to sleep past 7:00, until the kids are just a little older, it's not going to happen. The noise doesn't last long and then it's quiet. . I would recommend this rental and would stay again, even getting up early, it's a nice place to stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

Cancellation policy:

Terms and Conditions 1. This agreement shall not take effect until the non-refundable deposit is paid. 2. The remaining rental fee, damage deposit, and cleaning fee are due 15 days prior to the start of the rental period. The damage deposit and cleaning fee will be returned in full if the rental reservation is cancelled before the premises are occupied. There is no refund of the rental fee for early termination or cancellation. 3. The cleaning fee is non-refundable once the premises have been occupied. The cleaning fee includes general housecleaning, window cleaning, emptying the trash/recycling, removing, washing and replacing dirty linens, making the beds, etc., but does not include washing dishes or disposing of food. The renter must wash the dishes, empty the refrigerator and throw away any uneaten food before vacating the premises. Any additional cleaning charges actually incurred will be deducted from the damage deposit. 4. The damage deposit will be mailed to the signatory at the address provided above within 5 business days following the end of the rental period. 5. The rental period begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 11 a.m. The premises must be vacated no later than 11 a.m. Holdover rent in the amount of $195 per day (or partial day) will be due immediately beginning at 11:05 a.m. 6. Shared laundry facilities are provided and all posted instructions, including proper use of the laundry facilities and days of use must be adhered to. 7. No tobacco products are permitted anywhere on the premises, including the apartment, stairwell, laundry room, outdoor hallways, garage, or back yard. The damage deposit will be forfeited in full for any use of tobacco products on the premises and additional damages may be assessed, including but not limited to the cost of cleaning the carpets and walls. 8. The Landlord, or Landlord’s delegates, may enter the premises immediately in the event of an emergency or to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance. 9. Overnight occupancy (including small children, infants and visitors) cannot exceed 4 persons without prior permission from the Landlord. 10. Only the Landlord is allowed to have pets on the premises, except certified companion dogs with prior notice. 11. Landlord will provide the apartment furnished, including living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture; plates, utensils, and cookware, refrigerator/freezer, range; television/DVR; linens and towels; a reasonable supply of toilet paper and paper towels; hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen; dishwashing liquid (refill bottle with soap provided under sink); and laundry detergent. 12. Renter(s) are responsible for all damage, breakage and /or loss to the premises, except normal wear and tear and unavoidable casualties (deemed by Landlord) which may result from occupancy. 13. DVDs and games may be provided as part of the furnishings. Some games have small pieces and are not suitable for young children (toddlers and infants). Likewise, some movies may not be appropriate for children. 14. Rent includes gas/electric utilities, satellite television (including premium channels), garbage collection fees, customary water/sewer charges. Excessive toilet paper use or placement of anything other than toilet paper in the toilets (or in any drain) will result in damage charges, including excessive water/sewer charges, actual costs to repair, and any loss of rent. 15. All City of San Francisco recycling ordinances, posted on the premises, must be adhered to and damages may be assessed for failure to do so. (The City of San Francisco levies fines for failing to abide by the City’s recycling ordinances.) 16. Indoor moisture must be controlled by using the kitchen fan during cooking and the bathroom fan whenever the shower is used. 17. Towels and other linens can be left in the apartment unwashed at the end of the rental period. 18. Landlord may terminate wireless internet access, and Landlord shall not be responsible for providing alternate internet access. 19. Children (including all persons under the age of 18) must be supervised at all times. 20. The backyard is for Landlord’s use only, except in the event of an emergency. Landlord shall not be liable for any injuries, death, or damages to the renter or renter’s guests/invitees, including, but not limited to dog bites, sustained while entering/existing through the rear of the premises. The Landlord’s pets have access to the backyard. 21. Landlord shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the premises. The shall hold Landlord harmless and indemnify Landlord from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of the premises and from or against any omission, neglect, or default, including such act by a guest or other invitee. 22. The premises shall not be used for any illegal or unlawful purpose.
