Location: Private Homes, Southeast, Cape Coral, Florida South West, Florida, USA (35 minutes from RSW, 25 mins in traffic to Gulf Beaches)
Accommodations: House, 6 Bedrooms, 3 Baths (Sleeps 14)
The Cape Coral Family House has two suites which make it perfect for a multi-family vacation. Our larger king suite has a sliding door that opens onto the pool deck and screened lanai. It is a huge room that can also accommodate an Aero Bed if you have a large party. This room has lovely crown moldings, tray ceilings, and a tropical ceiling fan over a luxury appointed king-sized bed for your comfort. The master bath has a walk-around shower which is big enough for a wheelchair to roll into and has double showerheads for sharing. This bathroom also has a 90-gallon, custom soaking tub so you and yours can relax after a hard day of beach combing.
From the master suite you can walk out into the great room and sink into the luxurious leather couches and watch TV on the big-screen TV in the custom entertainment center. Or, perhaps you will go have a seat at the bar and enjoy a quick glass of wine before dinner.
If you are the one in charge of making dinner, you will enjoy using the fully-appointed kitchen equipped with service for twelve and seating everyone at the large table for ten. If you need more space, there are folding tables and chairs available for you to use!
From the great room and kitchen area there are two walls of glass pocket doors that completely open up in the middle of the L and open to allow you to extend your entertaining onto the lanai. This allows for an unobstructed view of the canal basin that seems to give the optical illusion of the canal filling the disappearing edge pool! Flanking the left of the pool are beautiful raised planters with waterfalls and on the other side is a raised spa that spills over into the pool. The pool has wide steps in the shallow end that are perfect for little ones to play on. The pool enjoys southern exposure so it gets the most sun during the winter months. The pool is also electrically heated.
The Queen suite has its own glass entry from the pool or through the bath which is accessible from the pool. The smaller bath is beautifully appointed with glass encased slate tile shower. The Queen Suite is smaller than the grand suite, but still has a ceiling fan, tray ceiling, and our famous king-sized bed appointed with lots of pillows and 400-thread-count sheets!
Bedrooms three and four also have king-size beds with our luxury sheets and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom that is all white with cobalt blue tile. This bathroom has its own shower.
Bedrooms five and six are at the front of the house and have twin trundle beds so they can sleep two in each room.
Our home is not on the market to be sold and is not facing any bank action. Our home was custom built to be a vacation home and we have been renting to satisfied guests since 2002. We have three young children ourselves and we know how precious your vacation time is to your family! We have never pulled a reservation from a guest for any reason and we treat our guests with professionalism and respect. We wish you a pleasant stay in Florida no matter which home you choose!

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2002
This is a picture of us from a recent trip to Alaska. Our family lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and we love to go to Florida to enjoy the Cape Coral Family House with friends and family. We keep our home about 80% rented per year and are dedicated to providing a great experience.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Southeast
Back in the early 2000's we would travel to Cape Coral and found it almost impossible to find accomodations we could share with family. Not only were there not enough bedrooms, but even big homes would only have a loveseat around the tv or a kitchen table that seated four! So we decided to build a home to our specifications that would be perfect for multifamily vacations. We found this land with the perfect site for our pool and bought it the weekend of Sept. 11th 2001. We were scared! Then we built a home the next year with two suites and plenty of bedrooms for kids! And of course we didn't skimp on the luxuries either... 90 gallon custom soak tub, double headed master walk in shower, waterfalls outside, disappearing edge pool, 400 thread count sheets and luxury mattresses!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We absolutely adore the comfy beds. They are wonderful. We also love the pool and the dark finish makes for excellent vacation photos!! Our favorite place to go is Sanibel Island followed closely by Sun Splash Waterpark which is 10 mins from our home. And our favorite Mexican place is Iguana Mia! We love their salsa!
