If you are looking for a vaction in the Orlando area in a quite safe community with friends or family then you have found the place. We truly offer world class golfing, fresh water fishing, water-sking with a certified measured slalom course and one mile runs across the lake for wakeboarders. The area is known for its out door activites as one of the top places in the country for cyclist, and the annual triathlon in the fall. Only minutes from the home is the National Training Center for tri-athletes. An amazing fitnes facility to sharpen your skills in any sport. We offer a private home where you can enjoy the sports, the area, the theme parks, the lake for sking, wakeboarding or fishing, great resturants close by and a quite place to relax and watch the sunsets at the end of the day.
Location: Located at 17536 C.R. 455 Montverde, Fl 34756 between Winter Garden and Clermont in Lake County. A small picturesque town just minutes off exit 272 of the Fl. turnpike. Drive time to the airport is less than 30 minutes. Arrangements to have you picked up and chauffeured to the house are avaliable. 5 minutes to Bella Collina Golfing, 10 minutes to Clermont and National Traing Center,less than 25 minutes to Disney & Universal. Minutes away to resturants like Carraba's, OutBack, Applebees's, family owned resturants, fast food & pizza.
Boats: We offer you two MasterCraft boats to chose from. For pure skiers we offer a new 2009 197 Tournament ski boat with Zero Off and MCX 350 h.p. engine. For the dire hard wakeboarders we offer the orginal and first boat ever used in the X Games a 2007 MasterCraft X-1. The ski boat is always avaliable the wakeboard boat is there from October 15th to May 1st. We also allow our guest the unique opportunity to bring their own boat for sking or fishing. We have our own ramp on our property so feel free to bring your boat. The boats are ride ready when you arrive but you are responsible for your own gas. We provide two portable gas tanks for gas and the convenience store is just down the street for gas.
Accmodations: My wife and I took and old Fl. home and turned it into our family water ski and wakeboard retreat. We put our effort into making the interior an open spacious and comfortable space with open views to the lake and a modern decor. We took two rooms and the orginal garage and turned this large space into and open kitchen, bar, dining and sitting area. We often sit 10 around our dining room table and there is room for more at the bar. The sitting (former garage) area features a stainless steel garage door with glass panes that allows you to sit back and enjoy the views of the lake or you can raise this door and open up the house to the out door patio that is over 20 feet wide and enjoy the mild spring like weather during what Orlando calls the winter months. We added a basketball court for the kids and have an all weather ping pong table that can be brought onto the open patio area. Of course there is a grill to feed the gang. Back inside you will find all new appliances and kitchen supplies. There is one master bedroom at one end of the house and a guest bedroom at the other end with the third bedroom offering space for 4 kids or adults in full size custom built in bunk beds. This end of the home shares a full bath while the master bed room has its own. There is a pull out sofa in the den that sleeps two, along with a 42 inch Phillips LCD TV that has acess to Dish Network and a DVD player for movies. There is also wireless internet acess. There is one last sleeping spot that is highly conveted for its comfort and size on the day bed pictured in the hall. All these sleeping spots make it a great family vacation for one or two families or group of friends. There is a large utility room for your supplies that includes a new washer and large dryer. Towels & linens are provided. All you need is your toys i.e. golf clubs, skis, wakeboard, fishing equipment, road bike, or running attire. There is a tube on site for those less inclined to ski or wakeboard. Fishing from the pier is also popular but we ask that you absolutely do not fish in the ski or wakeboard boat. They are strictly water sports oriented and fishing in them is prohibited. There are some fishing supplies in the srorage area. To top it all off we offer a very nice golf cart to get your supplies back & forth from the house to the pier on the lake.

I am an avid water skier as you can tell from this picture. My 3 boys are very accomplished wakeboarders. In the summer we teach wakeboaring and water skiing on the Outer Banks of NC. You can see pictures of us and the boats at our website obxwakeboardwaterski or through our booking agent in NC, Kitty Hawk Kites. We use our Fl. home to get our water skiing and wakeboarding fix in the winter months. Everyone whom has stayed at our home has loved it. We have attracted water skers, wakeboarders, cyclist, fisherman, golfers and families going to the theme parks as our guest. Just got back from our second stay at this fantastic location! The house is large, clean, and nicely laid out. The view out the back to the lake is wonderful. It is a short walk down the back yard to your own private dock and boat, and all the watersports you can handle. We wakeboarded, and had a great time. Temps in the 70s all week and the lake was glass 3 of five days. I am already trying to plan my next trip down. Would recommend to anyone! Craig and company

As you know since you drive right by it is only a mile from the house and offers great food, golf, spa, a sauna or just play a game of pool and drink a few beers at the end of your day. It is totaly the one of the nicest golf/club house facilites in all of Orlando. Even if you think it looks to rich for your blood you just have to check it out and have lunch. It is as awesome as is the skiing and wakeboarding we offer. Come back! Maybe next time I can send my son over from collge in Winter Park to give you some wakeboard lessons. He has gotten incredible living in Fl and wakeboarding with some great pro riders.

The place was great. We were 6 people who rented it for waterskiing for 5 days. The location, accomodation, and boat were top notch. A few of us golfed at nearby Bella Collina which was outstanding and very reasonable as a guest of Drew the owner. The house itself was very well equipped and very tasetfully renovated and modern. The ski course is right out front of the house and was glass calm almost our entire stay. Andreas, the property manager was great, as were the neigbors who gave us fresh grapefruit right from their tree! We will be back next year for sure!

We had a great week at this property and if you are after some flat fresh water to ski and wakeboard on, this is the place. Everything about the property is as described. After a busy day on the water it is a brilliant property to wander back to across the garden from the boat dock and chill! Nice community away from the rat race and yet only 30 mins drive from Universal and The Mall at Millenia etc. We enjoyed eating at Carrabas and Ruby Tuesday 10 mins drive away. Hope to be back soon.

We had an absolute great time at this house! Drew and Andreas couldn't be better to deal with. If you are a lake person, and love lake living, this is the house for you. I can now say, I had and awesome Thanksgiving dinner and a Wakeboard set all in the same day. We would absolutely come back!

Just got home today (4/25/09) following an awesome week on the lake. The house workrd perfectly for my wife, me and 5 kids. The bunk room (sleeps 4 nicely) close to a nice large bath worked nicely for our teenage boys. The guest room was nice and private for one of my wife's friends who spent a couple days in the sun with us. The master bedroom and bath was great and very quiet - even with the xbox going all night long in the den. We brought our own boat and had a blast on the lake - we only had to share the water twice in 6 days! All were pleased to discover that we didn't have to worry about alligators. We will absolutely hope to return again.

what a wonderful place! Really comfortable, with all of the comforts of home, PLUS the lake and all of that waterskiing and wakeboarding. Drew, the owner, gave us pointers, the last day, and caretakers Bettty and Gene were so warm and friendly; with a wealth of helpful tips, information, and even fishing lures. You won't find a nicer , more fun place, & half hour from orlando.

As a life time slalom skier, there is nothing like waking up in the morning looking out over a ski lake with a boat on the lift and the slalom course out the window. The ski conditions are tremendous; very little use of the lake by others, clean water, good wind protection, and the course is record certified. the home is also special, the interior looks like something you would see in Architectural Digest, quant, yet modern. I highly recomend the home for a vacation, serious training site to serious relaxation time, you have it all here!
