If you are looking for a water ski or wakeboard vacation with your friends or family then you have found the place. We are not a camp or ski school. We are a private home where you can enjoy the sport of water skiing or wakeboarding free from the regimented setting of a camp or ski school. Wakeboard or water ski across our almost 1 mile/1.6 meter lake and enjoy unlimited and uninterrupted sessions on the glassiest conditions. You can start ealy and ride till sunset. Lake Florence is a natural spring fed 100 acre lake. Professionally installed slalom course and wide lake runs for wakeboarders make this the perfect trip for family and friends who, like my family, enjoy both water skiing and wakeboarding. As a testament to the ideal conditions you will find the only regular skiers are Kris and Jennifer-Leachman Lapoint, legendary water skiers with a penchant for detail and ideal conditions tell you this lake is one of the best kept secrest in central Florida.
Location: Located at 17536 C.R. 455 Montverde, Fl 34756 between Winter Garden and Clermont in Lake County. A small picturesque town just minutes off exit 272 of the Fl. turnpike located in the heart of water ski and wakeboard country. There are many camps, pro water skiers and pro wakeboarders that will come by for personal instruction or you can drive the few minutes necessary for private instruction. Drive time to the airport is less than 30 minutes. Arrangements to have you picked up and chauffeured to the house are avaliable. Less than 25 minutes to Disney & Universal. Minutes away to resturants like Carraba's, OutBack, Applebees's, family owned resturants, fast food & pizza.
Boats: We offer you two MasterCraft boats to chose from a 2006 Tournament Team ski boat with perfect pass and MCX 350 h.p. engine and the orginal and first boat ever used in the X Games a 2007 X-1 from MasterCraft for wakeboarders. These boats are generally available for qualified guest from November 15th till June 5th. In other months we offer the home without the boats but we have an avaliable ramp on site so feel free to bring your boat anytime and save the cost or renting ours. The boats are ride ready when you arrive with full gas tanks and two 6 gallon tanks available for refill just down the street less than half mile away.
Accmodations: My wife and I took and old Fl. home and turned it into our family water ski and wakeboard retreat. We put our effort into making the interior an open spacious and comfortable space with open views to the lake and a modern decor. We took two rooms and the orginal garage and turned this large space into and open kitchen, bar, dining and sitting area to accmodate our friends and guest. We often sit 10 around our dining room table and there is room for more at the bar. The sitting (former garage) area features a stainless steel garage door with glass panes that allows you to sit back and enjoy the views of the lake or you can raise this door and open up the house to the out door patio that is over 20 feet wide and enjoy the mild spring like weather during what Orlando calls the winter months. We added a basketball court for the kids and have an all weather ping pong table that can be brought onto the open patio area. Of course there is a grill to feed the gang. Back inside you will find all new appliances and kitchen supplies. There is one master bedroom at one end of the house and a guest bedroom at the other end with the third bedroom offering space for 4 kids or adults in full size custom built in bunk beds. This end of the home shares a full bath while the master bed room has its own. There is a pull out sofa in the den that sleeps two, along with a 42 inch Phillips LCD TV that has acess to Dish Network and a DVD player for movies. There is also wireless internet acess. There is one last sleeping spot that is highly conveted for its comfort and size on the day bed pictured in the hall. All these sleeping spots make it a great family vacation for one or two families or group of friends. Sleeping capacity is 11 in all these spaces. There is a large utility room for your supplies that includes a new washer and large dryer. Towels & linens are provided all you need is your skis, wakeboard or other water toys. There is a tube on site for those less inclined to ski or wakeboard. Fishing from the pier is also popular but we ask that you absolutely do not fish in the boats they are strictly water sports oriented and fishing in them is prohibited. There are some fishing supplies in the srorage area. To top it all off we offer a very nice golf cart to get your supplies back & forth from the house to the pier.
Rates: Best deal in water ski or wakeboard vacations. 5 day packages. First 2 guest are $500 each ($1000), next 2 guest are $400 each ($1800), next 2 guest are $300 each ($2400), next 2 guest are $200 each ($2800), next 2 guest are $100 each ($3000) maximum occupancy 11. This includes boat. Additional days are prorated based on number of guest. Linens and towels are included all you need is your skis or wakeboards. Clean up fee $200. Boat is full upon arrival for $80. Damage deposit required. You may bring your own boat and the rate for 5 day rental of house only is $600 or $800 for 7 days. Clean up fee without boat is $150 and no damage deposit is required

Sleeping is 1 Master and one Guest room both queen size beds with 2 bunk beds sleeping 4 in another room, pull out couch sleeps 2, day bed sleeps one and one more on the couch gets you to 12, Private Lake, pier with boat lift, bring your own boat ramp, basketball court, 42 inch HD TV, great water-skiing, fishing, birds, & sunsets.
