This rustic authentic log cabin is on private treed property 15 minutes from Soldotna. We are located off the Sterling Hwy. and Robinson Loop where moose are frequently sited. It is a gorgeous 145 mile drive from Anchorage or a short 30 minute commuter flight to Kenai. An approximate 8 minute drive from your doorstep will take you to the confluence of the Kenai and Moose Rivers where the phenomenal fishing will get you a silver or red almost every cast and 40-60 lb. Kings can be had right from the bank. Halibut fishing in the Cook Inlet is a short 20 mile drive.
Your kitchen is fully stocked. Spices, coffee, sugar and condiments are included. For your convenience a gas grill is provided on your deck. A nice fish cleaning station and a large upright freezer are provided for your catch. Loft sleeping area has twin beds and black out curtains. Bunk beds are on the main floor. Cabin will sleep 4 quite comfortably. The 'woodstove' is electric for heat or ambiance. Table and chairs for dining. Outside dining area as well. The bathroom is located downstairs.
A fire pit nestled in a treed clearing affords you a nice relaxing spot to swap fishin' tales in the evening.
A 3 night minimum stay is appreciated, but depending on the reservation schedule we may be able to accommodate a 2 night stay.
