Our brand new mountain home has just been finished and is now ready to rent. Its features include three bedrooms(two queen beds, two twins), and three bathrooms, each with tub/shower combinations. It is located in a quiet area with mountain views. The main floor level has solid oak hardwood floors, and soaring tongue and groove pine ceilings. This level features an open great room, a dining room, a stacked rock gas fireplace, a 42 inch flat-scree TV, a VCR/DVD, a fully-equipped kitchen with solid surface countertops, maple cabinets, one bedroom, a large walk-in pantry and a full bath. This floor leads to a large decks with a seasonal view of the lake and a year-round view of the mountains.

The upper level has a master suite with solid oak hardwood floors, a television. The master offers a fantastic seasonal view of the lake and a year-round view of the mountains. the wall The master bedroom also has a full bath and a large walk-in closet.

The lower level has a large bedroom with twin beds, a furnishd living room with a television, a full bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer, and a deck.

Our home is located in Bear Paw, which is the only development on gorgeous Lake Hiwassee in the mountains of southwestern North Carolina. Lake Hiwassee is only five to ten minutes walking distance from our home. Lake Hiwassee is an 18-mile long mountain lake that offers casual fishing, boating, and swimming. There is also a shared swimming pool(open from Memorial Day through Labor Day), a marina that rents boats, a tennis court, a basketball court, a child's playground, and a child's fishing pond. A secured entrance gate adds to the feeling of peace and serenity pervading Bear Paw.

  • Lovely home and quiet, quiet, quiet. Had the opportunity to stay for several days and enjoy Bear Paw. A change for me , living on the ocean. The house was comfortable, especially because I love home cooked meals as opposed to dining out. Great kitchen and watching TV on a huge flat screen with leather easy chair was a unexpected treat here in the mountains. Thanks for the memories.
