So glad we paid a little extra for this ground floor unit. The doors opened all the way and we enjoyed the trade winds every morning and evening. No elevators to deal with. The kids played in the grass and ate their meals picnic style just outside the lanai. The unit had everything we needed to cook and keep the place clean. Loved the walking path to all the other resorts. Easy parking. Super comfortable beds. It was a fabulous way to experience Hawaii. Far away from Waikiki- which is what we wanted. The beaches were perfect for families and we loved the on site bar.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

The condo was exactly as advertised. It has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. It is as beautiful as the pictures show. The staff at the complex were so friendly and helpful, especially one of the young ladies tending bar by the pool. She had so much knowledge of the area and was willing to share it all. We would love to come back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

I stayed at this property last September, which was the best time to visit Hawaii for its milder weather and less crowd. Ooh~~I wish I was still there. It was the most fabulous vacation house I've ever stayed. My family shared this villa with my old friend's family. We both had little kids age ranging 1yr to 10yrs. The villa was so spacious and well equipped that we felt comfortable just like home. ( well...better than my old california one) The best thing was its location. There are hundred properties in this resort complex, but I bet this one is the best spot for the family with young kids. This is groundfloor suite with private front lawn and safe gate to the pool which is just five steps away. The kids didn't have to take elevator or go up and down carrying water toys. You can just picture the most luxurious pool in your own backyard. We were also happy with the security and service of this resort. The screening begins as you enter the Ko Olina resort area, which confirms extended security. The staff of this villa was so nice and friendly as well. He provided extraordinary service when my friend left one of her luggage behind on the date of departure. Finally, I'd like to thank Jan, who offered reasonable pricing and flexibility with friendliest manners, not losing her professionalism. Thank you, Jan !Recommended for: Families with young children.

We stayed in the Luana Suite over President's Day week and had a tremendous family vacation. It is ideally located with an almost private entrance to the lagoon pool across the lawn in front of the lanai. In fact it is next door to the model unit for the condominum complex. The Luana Suite is not your typical vacation rental--it is clearly often used by its owners, and their personal touch is reflected in the quality of the furnishings. The kitchen is not only fully equipped, but stocked with spices and essentials like cooking oil. The Beach Villas complex is still only partially sold, and so one has the advantages of both a brand new development without the crush of too many fellow guests. Communal bar-b-ques were easy to access, and staff always helpful and cheery. We saw a sea turtle snorkeling in the lagoon out front. All-in all a pretty perfect place, and within an easy walk of the chocolate souffle at Roy's on the golf course as an added bonus!Owner response: Thank you Ted Lord and family, we enjoyed having you at the "Luana Suite".
